They should have offered it to Mlungisi Dlamini (IBO) and made it an all South African battle even though Funeka would win its a good chance to test those cpu rankings the IBO uses.

Guzman was doing well early on and if he can avoid getting busted up like he did maybe he would be able to make rematch look like the 1st 2 round of their 1st fight
he needs floyd sr in his corner

Funeka deserves that re-match, and needs to catch a break. Wish the best for the guy.

Sadly, Mlungisi Dlamini was killed in a car accident on January 29.

Well, I don't know about this although I want to agree. I think that Funeka is all wrong for Guzman for a lot of reasons.

However, I think Guzman's first mistake against Funeka was his new found aggression. I think Guzman wanted to shut some of his critics up about him being a boring fighter. He wanted to come out strong. The reason I say this is because anyone who has followed Guzman's career knows that he's a good slick fighter and a very good counter puncher but he didn't follow that plan with Funeka and that got him in a load of trouble.

I believe that if he fights his fight against Funeka he can win by decision. Funeka's punches (even though he has reach and height advantage) can be seen a mile away at times giving Guzman enough time to avoid his power. He cannot try that bs he tried the first time against Funeka like if he was a puncher and not a boxer.

So, if he takes the fight it should be fought on his terms and I believe without a doubt it will be a total different outcome.

I hope Funeka doesnt get robbed this time, that last fight was a farce. Guzman got dominated, he needs to drop back a weight class.
