Does Cotto haver a higher ring IQ, better defense, more accurate punches, better chin or better boxing skills than mayweather?

since when has power & size been effective vs Mayweather?

Surprisingly, Floyd had the edge in jabs landed 69-40, throwing 240 to Oscar’s 246.

Oscar landed just 4 of 77 jabs in rounds 10-12, after landing 31 out of 124 jabs in rounds 6-9.....lol

Lets to the math....124+77= 201.....so after the 6th round...Oscar threw 201 Jabs.....he threw 45 jabs in the first 5 rounds......

So TRUTH BE TOLD Oscar actually threw MORE Jabs after the 6th round than he did before the 6th round....lol...

      Thats all folks!
yeah that's a huge myth on these boards. oscar didn't stop throwing the jab, mayweather just made him miss all of them lol

You're trying to make it out like Cotto is some kind of volume puncher compared to Mayweather and he's not. He fights at a measured pace and throws about 50-60 punches a round. Mayweather may throw 35-45 punches per round. But it doesn't give Cotto a big advantage. And Cotto's work rate drops as the fight goes on if he's in with an opponent who can test his stamina. Floyd would because Cotto would miss a lot.

you never answered my question. here i go again

does mayweather have more size or power than cotto? if he doesn't, then those are disadvantages. would they matter? maybe yes, maybe not, but they are still advantages

unless you think that mayweather is bigger and more powerful than cotto

What does power have to do with anything?

Shane has more power than Manny...he wasnt able to knock down or even knock out Cotto

                Power means nothing

You are getting owned on this topic. Floyd > Cotto
Arum to Cotto: "Fight Michael Jennings or else."
Jennings to Cotto: "I think you should retire and become a guitarist in the band I play drums for."
