Cotto's defense has always been weak, Mayweather would completely outbox Cotto at 147 and probably stops him, at 140 he would have stopped him without a doubt. Mayweather's too accurate and Cotto's too easy to hit at any weightclass.

would it matter? maybe not, but it is still an advantage

i don't know what's so hard to understand about this
      you sound silly my friend

FACT: EVERY fighter that Mayweather has fought has THROWN More punches than he has.....but he was only OUTLANDED once and that was in the 1st castillo fight.....

what were you saying about punch output again?

Lets see 8 million for Margarito and 7 million a fight versus Cotto and Hatton if he would have stayed under Top Rank or 20+ million to fight Oscar, and 20+ million to fight Hatton out of top Rank(In addition to 8 million vs Baldo).

The math seems pretty obvious to me.

Blame Arum for low balling him.
