And after fighting him he called Mosley out, but Mosley declined after HBO put the money up for the bout three times because of a "tooth ache", even though he was well enough to fight Luis Collazo shortly after. Floyd was also offered 8mill to fight Margo, WHICH HE AGREED TO, as long a he was able to fight the undefeated cash cow Cotto for 10 afterwards. However Arum's highest offer for the Cotto bout was 7mill, which makes no sense. That's like fighting Pacquiao for less money than fighting Mosley. Cotto was the cash cow, so he should have been the big money fight. And unlike Arum's ****** such as Cotto, Floyd didn't put up with that crap and left Top Rank immediately. After that the only other options were PWill for lord knows how much chump change or Baldomir for the Welterweight title and 8mill. I'd much rather get a title before fighting someone like that.

So basically Floyd's only REAL options before retiring were Mosley and PWill. Mosley declined and I believe Williams had lost to Quintana around this time and was scheduled for a rematch (or the first fight) so he might have been out of the question. So again, how is this waiting too long. He fought the Ring Champ, then the welterweight champ after a feud with Top Rank, then the #1 Middleweight De La Hoya, anthen Hatton. I guess Hatton wasn't the best choice and both PWill and Mosley were available by then, but he was still a decent contender. After t
at he retired, and then came back to fight Marquez, which I see as more of a tuneup bout and an advantage in the Pacquiao negotiations. And what came after that? MOSLEY!
How could Judah be an elite welter when he was cooming off a loss in that fight and has a long history of melting down and not win ning his biggest fights and he was offered 8 mil by Margarito and instead he took 8 mil to fight an old slow flay footed Baldomir, which was never more than a journeyman fighter. Theres a big difference between hate and the truth. Those are just the facts.

Also Delahoya was past his best and on his way out of the sport, and he fought marquez who is a lightweight and Floyd came into that fight overweight

You have Cotto, Margarito, Williams of your division.

Why Pick Marquez and a smaller Hatton moving up in weight. Not only Floyd ducks 147 Fighters but he abuse. bully and cheats smaller fighters.

Why is it easy for Pacquiao who only had stayed at WW division for less than a year and he can fight Cotto and Clottey just like that?

Why is it so hard for Floyd in 5 Years? Why because he is a FRAUD!

                obvious really.

He has been at welter for 5 years.....true....but has been retired for 21 months of those 5 years.

He fought JMM as a tune up after an 18 month lay-off and to get the ball rolling on a Pac fight.

As for Hatton.....seriously you can't figure that one out? Let me help you....why did Pac fight Hatton? Why does JMM want Hatton at 140 right now if he comes back for one more fight? Why were other fighters throwing their name into the mix once he announced an intention to return for 1 more fight?

                $$$$$$$$$$$$$

Everyone needs to relax.....he has proven he wants top competition. He tried (and failed) to get the fight with Pac done. Now he has moved on to Mosley. At this current time Cotto is not better than mosley. Pre-marg u may have an argument. As for P Will.....he is an even smaller drawcard than Shane is.

"IF" he beats Shane the pac fight should get made.....there will be pressure on Pac to make the fight.

Did you even read my entire post? Floyd couldn't fight Margo because of his feud with Arum and he left Top Rank because of that. However he ACCEPTED the challenge. But why would anyone fight the cash cow (Cotto) for LESS? Mosley also declined the Mayweather bout (he also ducked Floyd and Margo for two years yet nobody says anything about that) so Floyd had no choice other than fighting Baldomir. And stop discrediting all of his opponents. De La Hoya was 34 when Floyd fought him. He was shot at most. Definitely not completely past his prime. Judah also had wins over good fighters like Cory Spinks (twice, but he got robbed in the first) and he was The Ring Magazine champ for a reason. He only lost to Baldomir because he didn't train at all. And I'm still not convinced that Cotto would have beaten him without fouling 5+ times. Hatton and Floyd were physically the same size (actually Hatton is bigger) so that wasn't picking on a smaller fighter. Just one with less class, but that's not his fault.

The only fight you could make a case about was the Marquez fight because he's a natural featherweight, but aside from Mosley there weren't any other choices and it would be ******ed to fight Mosley after a two year layoff.
