I dont know where this resergence of Castillo support came from, but I remind you all-- only one of those two guys got stopped, and it was not Corrales. Corrales may have to go through hell again in their next fight, but when the fight is over Castillo will be a permanent resident.
Corrales wants no mas from Castillo

I'm calling it as I see it. Castillo won't make the same mistake of thinking Corrales is done after he downs him and Chico will get knocked out. Castillo got stopped but why do I feel Chico was the one who got the worst beating? And a rematch won't happen. Chico don't want anymore.Originally posted by NiGe2011I dont know where this resergence of Castillo support came from, but I remind you all-- only one of those two guys got stopped, and it was not Corrales. Chico fought exactly the fight that Castillo wanted and the last fight that he should have strategically. And still he knocked out Castillo, can you even imagine what will happen if he throws a little strategy in with that superior talent? It wouldn't be nearly as competative as the first. Chico may have been a little more bruised after the fight, but that goes ten more seconds and Castillo is in a coma. I want to see a rematch as much as the next guy, but as I have said- the green is what makes the decisions, and if it is there for a rematch, then that will be the fight. If it is more for another bout, then that will be Chico's next fight. And no amount of lobbying from Arum and Castillo are going to change that, so I guess we just have to keep our fingers crossed.Comment

both fighters would have strategies going into a rematch but I would favor Castillo. And he doesn have more talent than Castillo. If anything the latter is way more versatile than Diego. Look at what happened in their respective Mayweather fights.Comment

I don't really want to say anything bad about Corrales because I am a fan of his but I get the feeling him and his camp feel they got away with one. If it had been Corrales who got stopped he would of been crying around begging for a rematch just like after the Casamayor fight.Originally posted by NiGe2011I dont know where this resergence of Castillo support came from, but I remind you all-- only one of those two guys got stopped, and it was not Corrales. Please man, I don't hate Castillo or anything, but the man only has one style. And that is to go plowing foward. And he is a warrior, no doubt, so he makes it work for himself. But Diego can slug (which he best Castillo doing last time) and he can box (which he will beat him with next time). As I said, about ten more seconds and Castillo is in a coma after the last fight. If they fight again he could be leaving in a bodybag. If he lost a fight in a battle of styles that were tailor-made for him, how is he going to fair when he actually has to deal with Chico making it tough for him stylistically?Comment

Corrales won and the ball is in his court, if the rematch if gonna happen is not cuz Castillo demands it, it cuz Showtime will offer a big payday to Corrales that he cant refuse...If he can make more money fighting someone else (Morales/Floyd) I don't blame him...Comment

There is nothing in the fight that suggests to me that Corrales could outbox Castillo. Everytime he started stepping back and jabbing Castillo would start jabbing as well and landing his as well. Corrales can not outbox Castillo.Comment
