Didnt Cintrons jab and power keep Martinez honest?

Ronnie Shields prepared Cintron pretty good for that fight. Not just his jab, but his rhythm. Don't know where you got power from when Martinez was the one that was putting on pressure.

Martinez will be tagging Pavlik all night and keeping him off balance with lateral and in and out movement.

People who think Martinez easily beats Pavlik will be sadly mistaken. Hes 35 years old and will be fighting a guy who is a natural middle.

Martinez clearly won that fight, fighting the same way he always fights.

He didn't start Boxing until he was 19.

Maybe not easily beaten but Pavlik has looked more than beatable in his last outing and fighting an unorthodox south paw in Martinez wouldn’t help his misery.

Wasnt he supposed to throw nonstop against Bhop?
Are you guys delusional? Since when has pavlik been a volume puncher?

Its already been proven if you dont let him plant his feet, he cant throw.

He's not so much a volume puncher as he is a straight ahead Mexican warrior. You can compare a light heavyweight Hopkins to a junior middleweight Martinez until you are blue in the head, but Pavlik-Martinez will look nothing like Pavlik-Hopkins even if Martinez beats Pavlik.

Martinez should have got a KO, then a UD.

                  So.... no.

To be honest, Pavlik does throw 70 punches per round (against stationary targets).

Against a non stationary counter puncher, it was around 30. It'll probably be in between.

Paul had shown an iron chin until Martinez knocked him around with both hands. When Sergio starts knocking Pavlik around with right hooks and overhand lefts he doesn't see coming, they'll change their tune.

They certainly will be trading shots back and forth. The main key for Pavlik to win this fight will be to set his feet and pop the jab. This will lead to beautiful combinations. Pavlik was not throwing the jab much against Espino. I just hope that he doesn't forget to do it against Martinez or else Pavlik will lose. Martinez is no joke and I give him credit for being a tough fighter.
