Didnt Cintrons jab and power keep Martinez honest?

But what about Margarito? His punches are VERY predictable, and he's probably slower. He's also shorter. He stopped Martinez.

If the fight goes thru.... I will be with martinez...

Pavlik is a good boxer with great power. But I like the possibility of Martinez getting the W.

We really shouldn't take much stock in fights that occurred nearly a decade ago. That fight took place in 2000. I don't know about you, but I am much more different than I was 10 years ago. Through out a span of a decade, a fighter can improve dramatically. This is for all fighters.

Pavlik is stronger then Cintron and has a better stronger jab. Pavlik can also throw punches non stop for 12 like Paul did. Sergio gassed aginst Paul. Pav could wear him down late.

              We'll see.
You dont seem to understand.. the difference in Pauls workrate and Pavliks is HUGE.

Paul, like calzaghe, will throw at anything. Pavlik on the other hand has to get set and needs you in front of him. He wont throw ANYTHING whilst moving.

Hince his non existant workrate against a lateral moving bhop.

I just can't wait to see how Martinez, who's more of a junior middleweight, handles a full-bodied MW hunting him down for 12 rounds and throwing non-stop. Pavlik doesn't have one punch KO power but he hits really hard. I don't think his chin will hold up and I don't think his counters are going to phase Pavlik.

Right off the bat I can say that Martinez will school Pavlik cause Martinez's speed can potentially be too much for Pavlik as he is a stationary target. But Pavlik can punch and is real tough. It won't be easy for Sergio, IMO. He's in for another real tough fight.

The key is to stifle Pavlik's output. If you notice in the Hopkins fight, when Hop would throw more than a 2 punch combo, Pavlik would freeze and shell up. I'm pretty sure Martinez and crew realize that being first to freeze Pavlik up and then moving out of the way would be key in a victory.

That's true but Pavlik is now fighting someone he outweighs by a weight class instead of someone that outweighs him by 1 1/2 weight classes. Hopkins deal in that fight was always getting off first. Martinez is a counter puncher so I don't see him beating Pavlik to the punch repeatedly. Hopkins also hurt Pavlik, I don't think Martinez has that kind of power.
