if he is true to his words, he should have fight the pacman. but the truth is the he can adapt to any style but not the unconventional, unorthodox pacman's style. pac throws punches even if he's off-balance, with speed and power. pac throws his left when it should be the right hand. pac saw every angle to strike where nobody is expecting he could.

nobody is beating Floyd. Floyd would have to move up in weight (again) but it still wouldnt mean that he would get a challenge as far as boxing skills go. he would just be matching with stronger punchers at a heavier weight. his skills as a straight up boxer will be recognized in this fight against a very live Shane Mosley. hope you're watching Pac.

The rematch clause benefits Mayweather more so than Mosley. Firstly in the off chance that Mayweather loses, he will receive another opportunity with even more money on the table the second time around--provided of course that the first fight would be competitive enough.

I heard that the rematch clause came directly from the Mayweather camp. But if Mayweather wins then I don't see him giving the same opportunity to Mosley a second time.

Mayweather's rationale for taking matches works in a certain way. Firstly he asks himself a few questions;

1) How much money can I make?
2) How much money can I make post-taxes?
3) Once I've made my money how do I double it?
4) I wonder if Ellerbe has gotten me onto the new reality show "America's Got talent"...I heard the grand prize is money.
5) Where is all my money?
6) What's the risk versus reward?
and finally 7) Can I get more money?
