There was a rematch clause in his fight with ODLH, which both of them had agreed upon because of the money that the rematch would have generated.

Mayweather didnt put the clause in there Oscar and Schafer did. Its simply to prevent Shane from fighting Pac if he beats Floyd.

Mayweather wanted it as well based on the money that the rematch would have generated. The promotion was driven by Golden Boy and subsequently they set the terms as well, including the rematch provision which Floyd supported 100% according to both he and Ellerbe.

I could care less if Floyd happen to lose this fight, but what really matter is that he proved that he wasn't the one who ducked out the Floyd-Pacquiao bout. Mosley will be one of the hardest opponent if not the hardest opponent Floyd will face, and a convincing win over Mosley will be huge for his legacy.

I'm glad this fight is happening but Floyd will adapt to any style that Mosley brings that day. He can lull him, trap him, potshot him, box him or run from him. Don't matter, Floyd will quickly adapt.

Floyd doesn't need a gameplan because his style is to adapt quickly to whatever style is in front of him. The question is, what will Mosley Plan B or C be? If Power boxing don't work, then what?

That being said, I hope that ****m comes up with the plans because I'm a big fan of Shane.

i agree the best way is pressure and to smother floyd like jlc did, body punches can beat floyd he cant take it to the body, trying to hit him in the face is a waste of time as his defense is too tight, but after several rnds of body work his defense wont be so tight, as he will be trying to cover up the tenderized ribs. Mosley has a beter chance against floyd if he doesnt age overnight than pac does because pac is strictly a head hunter. Molsey during his liteweight years was a viscious body puncher he needs to revisit that and take a cue from mexican fighters.floyd is very beatable he looks better than he is because hes never fought somebody that poses a danger to him.since liteweight at least......

Roger Mayweather always maintained that Mosley would be Floyd's toughest opponent. Forget all the trash talk, this is no walkover for Floyd and I wouldn't be surprised if quite a few NSB members get their hearts broken on May 1. Shane Mosley's power and strength will help him.
