If a man attempts to murder you and gets busted before he does it, should he not be severely punished?

Margarito has lost more than a year of his prime, huge amounts of money and his reputation is tarnished forever. He's paid the price already. Evertime he fights he'll be under a magnifying glass. What point does it serve to keep him out of the sport?

It is wrong, and he's paid the price. Had he actually been caught fighting with loaded gloves I'd be all for a life time ban. That is not the case though, is it?

Mosley said Margrito knew what his trainer was putting on his hands and was influenced by him.

If Margrito knew, and wanted to fight with illegal wraps, he knew he could potentially kill his opponent.

He should be banned for life, but he wont.

Margs didn't use a deadly weapon though. This is more like carrying a concealed weapon. Had he used it, ban him for life. As it is he has been punished and done his time. The rest of his time in this sport he will be a fighter on intensive probation.

He absolutely should get banned for life what he did to Cotto was assault in the ring part2.
