he served his penalty paid his dues, trinidad did the same why didnt they suspend him??/margarito was hated before this,i remember quite well .theres a lot of bias in there against him. he didnt even use em, and really there is no proof he used em before.cotto getting his butt kicked is not proof, as cotto came very close to losing before margarito, he was always a beatable fighter, cotto was winning the fight till he gassed out which had also happened before, margarito took a hell of a beating,did his chin have plaster also? i for one feel marg totally isnt the type to do stuff like that
knowingly, he just wants to fight, he is definitley a guy who lives clean and is a man of honor ive never even heard the dude say as much as a cuss word, he honored the penalty now its time for nscac to do the same. i for one want to see the top welters mix it up with him,as the welterweight class is very weak right now.u have an aging 38 year old, a running chicken and an overhyped asian with a head the size of a linebacker,we need more top welterweights.besides noone but margarito and mosley have had the nuts to clean out or face the toughest in welter division,both mayweather and pac have at best been very very choosy.

I also think Margarito should go about coming back the right way and go through CSAC. If he did that then there would probably be less heat on him. He is going through the texas commission which is known to have had problems in the past. He also still openly hangs around the trainer who supposedly "ruined" his career even when Arum told him to stay away. That's a bad move in the public eye.

i agree, give the guy a lie detector test, if he passes let him back, if he doesnt ban him for life..

those materials harden after they become wet, so he may not have known, however, very unlikely.

Only thing is lie detector tests are not fully accurate. There are a lot of ways around them. that's why its not admissible in court. Its a tough call because he could fail because he was nervous or pass because he can get around it.

coulda woulda, hearsay, and tell pac to test for steroids before using this holier than thou argument , if u reuse handwraps enough they turn plaster like and paste like any one whos laced em up knows this its a bull**** rap, no proof no evidence and even the evidence at hand is questionable it wasnt even plaster of paris it was old crusty handwraps its not the same thing, plaster of paris in a glove to begin with pulverises,or turns to goo with the humidity its not rock. the guy paid his dues did what they asked, if it were metal he wouldve been suspeded forever, the evidence is weak,opinions dont count eveidence does.in my opinion anyone whom wants to dictate ttheir own random drug testing is using drugs, does that mean for sure pac is using ??? no it doesnt.

The only thing is they say it was coated with a plaster like substance. I don't think they would have been so harsh on him if it was crusty wraps. When they were checking his gloves inserts fell out that shouldn't have been there also.

Mosley was given steriods and he wasnt aware, Margarito was given illegal handwraps for padding and he wasnt aware. Mosley has a good heart for standing up and letting everyone know it wasnt Tonys fault.

I'm not sure how to feel about the situation. I am a firm believe in second chances and redemption. I believe everyone deserves an opportunity not to let mistakes define their lives. I think Margarito should be allowed to fight and earn and a living.

Mosley says Margarito was influenced by his trainer, so Margarito is a puppet then but Mosley wants him to keep fighting? WTF? So if Margarito's next trainer influences him to use loaded gloves again, then what? Mosley makes no sense. He should've kept his statement to the trainer having full knowledge and not Margarito.

I say ban him for a couple of more years (as we've seen boxers sometimes stay inactive for a year so the suspension he received isn't that big) and then let him comeback again like the disgrace that he is. He should also go to the comission that suspended him before he attempts to comeback, what Top Rank is doing is disrespectful.

I feel the same way, He has serve his sentence and we all need to move on but i thik he needs to go back to the scene of his crime and reapply for his license back, And i hope he does that soon.
