He still won the first fight IMO.....it wasn't the decision that drew so much criticism it was the scorecards........Floyd won most of the early rds and he did win some late rds........watch rd 11 of the first fight.......it was a clear rd for Mayweather....but the HBO commentary team had their lips on Castillos **** at that stage and were too busy waxying lyrical about Castillo......Comment

Last time I checked, floyd's undefeated.
Deal with it.Comment

Hell naw, i give that fight to Mayweather all the way. That fight was tough, and despite the burnt rotator cuff, he still pulled out a win and fought like a champion. In the mid rounds, you hear him complaining to Roger how his shoulder's killin him. But yeah, that's what a champion is supposed to do. Step it up in even the most dire situations.
That was a good fight though, Castillo did catch him wit some tough ass shots and Mayweather didn't faulter. That fight could have gone either way or a draw. But if you watch the rubber match, Mayweather blows Castillo out of the water.
Fcuk Mayweather.Haha...Castillo loss is a mythComment

Tough to win a decision losing 5 or 6 of the first 6 rounds, to bad the last half of the fight doesn't count for double then maybe it be worth talking about.Comment

So what, your excuse is that Mayweather fought with 1 arm? Its a boxing match people get hurt.
Castillo owned MayweatherComment

Someone should end the myth that Castillo got dominated in the second fight. That fight went much the same as the first, except Mayweather took control of the championship rounds for the clear victory. The first 9 rounds went pretty much exactly the same.Comment

Someone said end the myth that Castillo-Mayweather 1 was a robbery.
Do you know how many Castillo-Mayweather type fights there has been in history? Literally, thousands.
The fight wa close and could have gone either way. Mayweather got the decision.
They had an immediate rematch to solve the issue and Mayweather won clearly.
That's all there is to it but I assume this same argument is going to be ongoing until the end of time.Comment
