Good list, I agree with all apart from Roy Jones, the '90s was his decade in my opinion

Mayweather isn't the best welterweight of the passed decade, I'd give that award to Mosley.

He is in my opinion one of the best at 130lb and 135lbs.

Lennox should be the heavyweight of this past decade. From 2000 to his retirement he beat:

            Vitali
            Tyson
            Rahman
            Tua
            Botha
            Michael Grant

That is better then anything any other Heavyweight has done this decade.

Hmm, although a few are a little suss, people have already brought them up. What about Hatton? I think was a bigger force at 140, even though he had his last fight in 2005.

Hatton: Fought about fifty nobodies, and about three good fighters (two of which he was knocked out by), including an old Pendleton, an old Phillips, as well as beating champs and decent contenders Malignaggi, Maussa (?), Collazo, Urango (really does remind me of an orangutan) an old Castiilo, an old Tszyu himself plus losing by brutal KO twice to Mayweather and Pacman.

Does that equal beating Mitchell x 2, an undefeated Zab Judah, 43-1 Miguel Angel Gonzalez, Julio Cesar Chavez (only his second knock down ever and with a knock out), undefeated number one Oktay Urkal, former champ Jesse James Leija, top contenders Ben Tackie and Ahmed Santos, along with the loss to Hatton.

I don't know. Hatton sucks though either way.

Yeah, I don't know about Roy...

His LHW days went from 2000-2002.. then one win over Tarver in 2003.

And it ended there... His decade was the 90's.

I don't even know who you would put for this decade... Tarver? ehhh...

It kinda went Roy > Tarver > Dawson for the 2000s

There has been no dominant fighter at Light heavy since Roy. The division is in a sad state, maybe this decade will be better.

Maybe it has to be Roy because who are the other options? It feels wrong to call Tarver light heavy of the decade on the sole merit of beating a drained and faded version of Roy. Dawson maybe but what has he really done at light heavy except beating Tarver and Johnson, Roy beat Tarver to...
