Is Juan M. Marquez popular in Mexico?

That just popped into my head, is he popular in Mexico? He has been one of the best boxers from Mexico in a couple of years so I was wondering how people treat him over there.

He's known, but I wouldn't call him a super star. He came up in the Morales/Barrera era and his style wasn't fan friendly. Saul Alvarez has more fame than he does at this point.

Yea, but Saul's fans are all regional. Chances are a wider array of Mexicans know JMM more.
