I'll bet HBO might try to make a star out of him once he gets out. But hopefully he quits being a dumb ass and focuses on his boxing career.

This is good news, though the weight is a concern it seems possible that he could be fighting at 160-168 in the near future which would add something to both divisions. In fact maybe he should campaign as a middleweight or supermiddle from now on.

Good to see Kirk getting some positive pub instead of the same old tired stories of the gun charges.Ann will whip him back into boxing mode.want to see if real sports will do a follow up story on him and hear from him himself on what his plans are.the first story where Ann was getting handcuffed was some funny **** when she was cussing out the pigs..FREE KIRK!!

ya man i totally agree but i dont think he'll need HBO to become a star although it would help, i saw him fight on the Hatton v Malignaggi fight and he was very exciting to watch, i was so dissapointed when i read that he had done something so ****** and potentionally ruin his career hope he makes a great comeback

He needs to become a bit of a star though to get the big fights. I thought kirkland was going to be a beast at 154 and if he can get back to where he was i think he is a very tough fight for guys like martinez and williams. I hope he gets his **** together cause he was starting to become one of my favorite fighters to watch. Kirkland vs Williams would be an awesome fight.

At his age, he'll be a dumbass for life.

With his style and the layoff he is gonna have to take a few fights so he can get that stamina and timing. Would love to watch him against Angulo once he is ready

                    He doesnt move his head.

Martinez and Williams would KO him.

What's up Burner? Do you think he could beat Dzinziruk? Remember he handled Joel Julio a lot easier than Sergei D. did.
