Physically, Kirkland will still be a beast.

It can go 2 ways mentally: either he was broken or he's gonna come back hungrier. If it's the second mu****as are in trouble.

awesome. He was on of my favorite prospects on the rise.

The weight is a little concerning, but hopefully when he gets out he gets back into fighting shape relatively fast and he's back to business.

The only thing that sucks is he's going to have to slowly work his way back up, take a few easy fights and go up the ladder, something he already did.

Sweeet I'm been waiting for his return. I wonder if Pacquiao would dare fight him at Jr Middle, that would be a hell of a fight.

ha, i dont think pacquiao would dare to do that. unless he was like the undisputed junior middle champ. even still, he is a beast at 154, and pac was at 130 less than 2 years ago.

If Kirkland returns to form after he gets free, I see him giving Paul Williams a tougher fight than Dzinziruk who everybody keeps overhyping.

Kirkland is a fun fighter to watch. Lets hope he doesn't make any more ****** mistakes to ruin his career. He needs to realize he has the potential to make tons of money in this sport.

This is good news, he is an exciting fighter to watch with a great future ahead if he stays on the right track. Damn though, 205!! I doubt he will have a problem getting back in to shape though, Anne Wolfe is relentless in training him. Hope she is sticking by him and that he is still mentally in it.

a couple of tune up fights and then kirkland angulo or kirkland williams both great all action fights.
