My take on the steroids/peds issue

You say that my argument is weak, but yet made a similar argument. Conseco ratting out McGwire.
Are you saying that Holyfield was on steroids for 20 years? Link?
Or can we only assume his link to steroids goes only as far as the pharmaceutical company goes?Comment

What you have left is just assuming. And McGwire ratting out Canseco proves what exactly? That 10-15 years later the truth will emerge? Good to know.Comment

See how easy it is to dismiss assumptions. But yet when Floyd Sr. made similar speculations, fanboys like you preach it like it's from the gospel of Floyd.
Occam's Razor says, that Floyd Jr. used the steroids/peds issue as a security blanket if and when the fight doesn't get made or he loses the bout.
He isn't necessarily a coward, but he didn't foresee his angle costing him a $40 million payday.

Thats ******. Why would their supplier go out and reveal them when he wasn't busted himself?Since all this steroids accusations are based on speculations, I would like to speculate on the matter from a different perspective.
Manny Pacquiao, Fighter of the Decade, if he is taking steroids/peds, wouldn't he need an accomplice and/or a supplier?
The guy is a boxer, who barely finished high school, can't be doing all this steroids to himself by himself.
If he is using state-of-the-art steroids that is undetectable by current standard testings, he must have a supplier.
If a supplier has such a product, they would have more than one customer.
The point is, there would be more people involve in this conspiracy and it's riskier for it to stay under wraps.
If Manny is on steroids, someone would have come out by now, with proof, and Manny would be in big trouble.
Not to mention the amount of money (i.e. book deals and exclusive interviews) to the first guy to break silence.
I'm not gonna bring up the he say, she say arguments and the guilty 'till proven innocent stance.
This is my take on the matter and believed that this is too big to stay secret. See BALCO, Conte, Mosley, Jones.
All the guys who did steroids in baseball were busted because a guy who did steroids was busted. Jose Conseco was busted, they banned him from the HOF, so he revealed everyone. Which in turn revealed the suppliers, and the suppliers weren't gonna go down by themselves so they revealed the people they gave steroids too.
So your logic is flawed. Pacquiao's supplier was never busted, therefore he isn't going to bring down Pacquiao.
Also, the people who supply athletes with steroids are in the Sport industry themselves. So if they say "Yeah I gave Pacquiao steroids." Their whole career is down the drain. Alot of them are doctors as well, so they will be busted and put in prison for bring illegal drugs into the USA, then supplying illegal drugs to athletes. So thats all types of federal laws being broken right there. How much time in the slam is that? 15+ years?
Gtfo if you think anyone is gonna risk 15+ years in prison just to reveal Pacquiao.
(I don't know if Pacquiao does steroids or not. All I do know, and all I argue on the matter is that Pacquiao didn't want to fight Mayweather. Not the other way around.)Comment
