Manny is FOTD, so there is attention now. The fans are also splitted on the matter.
Can we say that it's obvious in Boxing now? Floyd is claiming that he wants to "clean-up" the sport.

This would be too big for someone not to crack or get caught (doesn't have to be Manny, any of his known/unknown accomplices would do). History also tells us that it takes half the time to unfold a scandal from the one the preceeded it. Steroids/peds might be a step ahead of testing, but most plans are spoiled by the human factor.

The Festina scandal in cycling in 1998 caused 2 year bans to the riders on the team. The director sportif went to jail.

Judging by their bull**** excuses, it doesn't seem too farfetched. Hell, it was really their dumbass excuses that brought forth more su****ion than Floyd Sr. should be given credit for.

If they would have been straight with the issue, this would have blown over by now. But they chose to use up every excuse in the book, entertain Floyd's proposition, and then turn around and walk away, even when Floyd came to more than accommodating terms.

Manny Pacquiao, Fighter of the Decade, if he is taking steroids/peds, wouldn't he need an accomplice and/or a supplier?
The guy is a boxer, who barely finished high school, can't be doing all this steroids to himself by himself.
If he is using state-of-the-art steroids that is undetectable by current standard testings, he must have a supplier.
If a supplier has such a product, they would have more than one customer.

The point is, there would be more people involve in this conspiracy and it's riskier for it to stay under wraps.
If Manny is on steroids, someone would have come out by now, with proof, and Manny would be in big trouble.
Not to mention the amount of money (i.e. book deals and exclusive interviews) to the first guy to break silence.

I'm not gonna bring up the he say, she say arguments and the guilty 'till proven innocent stance.
This is my take on the matter and believed that this is too big to stay secret. See BALCO, Conte, Mosley, Jones.
In order for it to come out someone would have to be looking. One of the reasons why so many athletes in the US started using steroids (and *******) in the 70s and 80s was because no one was looking. In fact, no one really started looking until about 2000 or so. Might it be possible that no one is looking for steroids in East Asia and the Pacific Islands just as no one was looking when Jose Canseco and Mark McGwire were the "Bash Brothers?"

                  my take:
                  it's over
                  Pac's fighting Clottey
Floyd seems to be fighting Mosley
                  get the fuck over it
                  the fighters have
                  fans should too

This is one of the weakest arguments I've ever heard. If Jose Canseco hadn't outed Mark McGwire, would we know today? It took 20-something years before Evander Holyfield was caught. And on, and on.

If floyd wants to clean up sports why don't he proposed that to the commission?
