I agree with most of you've written. Mayweather should have comeback against a welterweight, namely Berto or even a guy like Collazo, but not Marquez...that was silly.
Name me ONE fighter that Floyd couldve fought on July 19th as a tune up that HBO PPV would accept.
One question...you think Mayweather would ever have the balls to do what Mosley,SRL, Duran, ODLH and countless others have done, move up and test himself against a guy like Martinez or even PWill?
One question...you think P Will would ever have the balls to do what Mosley,SRL, Duran, Mayweather, Pacquiao,ODLH and countless others have done, move up and test himself against a guy like Bute or even Dawson?
your a funny guy....you dissed Mayweather for fighting "ONE" fight against a smaller guy...but you give P-Will props for trying to campaign 2 weight divisions below his normal weight & NOT challenging himself by moving up in weight?
man relax thats waaaayyyyyy too much logic for him to comprehend
Ok so let us see how your logic works, a few posts ago, namely #151 you were arguing money as the main reason that Mayweather made certain choices as far as opponent selection, then you want to argue about average opposition holding titles namely Baldomir. Is it money or the title that makes the man, or is it the man that makes the title?
Switch catch me up here. Your beef is that Floyd shouldnt have fought for the Lineal Title?
No I have no beef with Floyd. I think his resume at welterweight since 2005 sucks the big one and so does Dougie Fischer,Max Kellerman, Bert Sugar, Dan Raf, Larry Merchant among many other professional journalists, not unlike this one or these threads wouldn't exist....are they all haters to?

Not silly at all. Its obvious to non haters that can see things clearly that Mayweather chose that fight to set up a fight with Manny. Marquez gave Manny life and death. Mayweather dominated him like he was an armature. Its the comparisons that set up that fight. People want to see if Floyd could do the same to Pac. The whole problem is, I think that fight scared Pac and Roach. Where are they now? Fighting Clottey who recently lost to Cotto. And they are still refusing the random drug tests. Either Pac is roiding or he's plain scared, bottom line.

Go.
I see what you are trying to get me to walk into. HBO would have accommodated another date other than the one you mentioned and any other opponent that May would/could have chosen, including Berto or Collazo, which they've done in the past and shuffled dates around.

*dies*
You're such a moron that you don't even see the absurdity in your own posts. PWill was fighting at 147 not to long ago and now you're stretching that out to light heavy.
Mayweather fought at 154 for a check, but he can't fight at 154 for the competition? Your examples are silly...you talk about hurdling over divisions to fight Dawson but you won't say anything about what I asked you, May has already fought at 154...would he test himself the way countless others have and fight PWill or Martinez at 154?
