People just loved to discredit Baldomir but none of the top 147LB's did

Are Zab and Baldy better than either Cotto or Clottey?
"It's a good fight," Williams said. "They're calling it 'Pretty Risky.' To me, it's a toss-up. It don't matter who you're in the ring with, it only takes one punch to change the whole night around."

he's going to pull it off. I just think that Baldomir's toughness is
going to take him through to the end of the fight."

"To me, it's a toss-up," said Paul Williams, the undefeated WBO No. 1 contender, who will be fighting Mario Lucero
on the undercard on Saturday, in what he hopes will be a final tune-up before challenging Antonio Margarito for that version of the title.

1) How long has Cotto been a welterweight? since 2007 (a year after Mayweather, but Mayweather was retired for 2 years so really Cotto has been fighting @ WW longer)
2)How long has Mayweather been a welterweight? since 2006
3) Prior to Mayweather, how long has Marquez been at welterweight? NEVER
4) How long has Pac been a welterweight? a little over a year
The answers provided that you give them accurately, sinks all of the theories.
Oh and this is for you...."OMG"..LMFAO" ROFL" "HANDJOBS TO ALL MAYWEATHER FANS" "YIPPEE" "YAYYYY".
1) His first fight at the welterweight limit was november 19th 2005 against Sharmbe Mitchell, not 2006..WRONG.
So guy A, forget about Mayweather let's call him guy A, who has been at 147 for five years but you ask what's the issue and difference in the weight between he and Marquez and compare it to Cotto/Pac, who in your own response you acknowledge this was his (Pac) first first at 147, so obviously he wasn't a natural 147.
Pac was coming up in weight rapidly, ok so here is the distinction, one guy has been there for 5 years...fact or false?
The other guy just got there...Pac? Fact or false?
He fought a natural welterweight who had been there for close to three years versus Mayweather fighting a guy who only be weight qualified for the 147 limit but it wasn't his natural fighting weight....do you not see the distinction in how long someone has been at what weight and how that impacts how you compare the two?

and since you want to bring up P Will...please tell me how many fighter have MOVED DOWN in weight to challenge smaller fighters with the aspirations of being an ATG?
Why hasnt P Will moved up to challenge bigger fighters like Floyd, Manny, Oscar & Shane has?
Palvik ducked him and that is the true def. of ducking a fighter when you claim you have hand problems they than offer to push the fight back you reject it. Than decide to fight a week after the offer date they made for you to heal.
P. Williams must grab a world title in a weight class to solidify him as an opponent. Belts do help and weigh in as a factor come fight time. If he can manage to capture the belt that they will vacant after Vernon Forrest death and/or Spinks title he may still have a shot to become a draw and get a mega fight.

Baldomir
They were the best, just cause their not now doesn't have anything to do with the fact Mayweather moved up and fought the champions at the time.

I have never heard of a guy trying to be great by moving down in divisions to chase smaller fighters...
Manny moved up 7
Floyd moved up 5.
Williams moved down 2

The money fights. If he moves down and is fighting at that limit its fair game.
