Yes it's a bad match up in styles for AA but I see Dirrell being a bit too confident after the first 3-4 rounds and if Froch cann get Dirrell to the ropes like he did, AA will connect to those chances...just relying on hands-down upperbody movement won't help you defensively vs. AA.

And then you got the crowd which will favour AA heavily. As people where suprised about AA feel of distance and work with the jab, people will also be suprised how he will impose those strength again vs. Dirrell...

We all saw Dirrell's confidence grow during the Froch fight. His output increased in the latter rounds, even though he was on the backfoot. His speed and reflexes should give Abraham fits.

Like everybody says, it will take a good shot from Abraham to possibly end it, but i thought Dirrell took Froch's shots quite well (the ones that did land anyway) and he would have to catch Andre flush, and with the height difference, Abraham would really have to stretch.

I see Dirrell dropping a few rounds early in the fight to suss Abraham, but should coast to a decision, but like i said, Abraham could end it with a big shot.

I think it was good that Dirrell fought Froch before Abraham, because if Dirrell fought the fight like that against Arthur, i'm sure he would have been caught and KO'd, but i liked the Dirrell in the latter half of the Froch fight, and i'm sure his confidence will grow in this fight too.

I'm rooting for Dirrell, as a win over Abraham will really throw this competition out in the open.

I think Arthur's shown he can adapt and box better than people credit in his previous fights, such as Taylor and Miranda. He's better at the weight, and is quicker than Froch, his reactions to Andre's movements won't be as bad as Carl's.

Plus Andre's only what an inch taller than Taylor with about the same ish reach.

I intend on watching some more footage but I'm favouring the King. I see a close contentious Andre decision very possible indeed though.

Abraham does not fight in the same style as Froch. Froch puts on pressure with a wide open chin, take shots and keep coming. If AA takes a shot from Dirrell, powerful or not, he will cover up. That's his instinct. So I can't see AA walking Dirrell into the ropes. AAs jab was against fighters who stood right in from of him. Dirrell is not going to do that. The biggest test for AA is how he handles lateral movement and footwork for a full fight.

JT was a fighter who couldn't set up a shot. And we all know his state of mind before went to Germany.

As I always like to see before any AA-fight that he's given only a small chance to win on points: Wait and see...when he needs to adjused he's always did so before...add future-HoF trainer Ulli Wegner (who works his corner) to this and his big confidence...losing is not an option...

...still my biggest hope for this one is just a good and entertaining fight which people given even less of a chance than AA winning on points...

I can see an AA points victory as well. If AA gets him early, and connects, and Dirrell gets all shy, his lack of aggresiveness can cost him with the judges.

And I don't see why AA can't throw a quick hammer when they are on the ropes.

I don't see Dirrell outmuscling him in the clinches.

Dirrell can win by ud by cautious activity, but make no mistake about AA, he can throw some compact bombs in close that are one shot ko type things.

He doesn't always loop his shots. There are about 5 youtube videos of him getting off in close and just wrecking the guy.

I just can't bring myself to really like AA as a fighter, but I do respect him for where he's got and shi.

It really bugs me how he looks about 55, his style is quite boring to watch (even with the KOs) and in the super 6 promo photos where everyone else looked awesome he just looked like a douche flailing around in a big coat or gurning at the camera.

Wouldn't it be funny if this retiree-looking, humble Armenian-born fighter wins the whole tourney...

People are anticipating that AA is only gonna be swinging for Dirrell's head. I disagree. I see him doing a lot of bodywork against Dirrell in the early going, breaking Dirrell down. Wouldn't even be surprised to see a knockout from body shots if Dirrell skips to the side with his arms up, like he has in the past. Very intriguing fight though, and I give Andre a chance to outpoint him if he stays on the outside and doesn't become too predictable (AA is a master at reading a fighter's rhythms, as should be evident by now). He certainly possesses the speed and footwork to do so. Still, there's something about AA, a sort of quiet but supreme confidence, that leads me to favour him in the victory.

Isn't a short, sneaky right on the inside the best weapon vs. a switch-hitter like Dirrell?

                      Look at the first knockdown:
