This fight appears to be really close. I see a lot of the boxing community is torn on it. I favor Dirrell because of the height and speed advantage. He knows how to stay tall and is defensively conscious at all times. Also, the fight being in America is a significant edge for Dirrell.

i agree its a tough one to call,im still picking abraham by KO though

andre is tall but his defence can be a bit dodgy at times, although it he looked good against froch, abraham is on a different level to the cobra

if abraham doesnt KO then he will lose, even if he happens to outbox dirrell we know he wont get the decision, but it is what it is,im excited about this fight-interesting clash of styles

Dirrell by UD. I respect Abraham but if you take away his wide looping shots, that's it. He always throws a lunging lead as a faint and comes around with a wide shot.

Though, AA can work behind an educated jab if he wants to as seen vs. Jermain Taylor...his jab is still progressing...and then you have his connectivity percentage - it's around an average of 40%...

Who do think will win Tom? I'm leaning slightly towards Direll as I think he's a bad style match-up for AA. To me it boils down to Direll having the needed amount of confidence in himself. That to me was his undoing against Froch.

If he has learned the lesson from that fight he can beat Arthur.

i totally agree with that.he will have learnt a lot from the froch fight, you could almost see him growing as a fighter as the rounds progressed in that one

plus he will be fighting at home this time round, abraham has his work cut out,but i still have faith in him

Anyone favoring Dirrell for a UD should take the crowd into account too. A lot of Armenians are gonna be making the drive to Rancho Mirage and their gonna be "oooooo ing" their lungs out after every Abraham flurry, accurate or not.

i agree. in my opinion, i felt dirrell could of used a couple more fights before fighting froch. the only thing that looked bad with dirrell against froch was his inexperience against world class fighters. i think he will look more comfortable and confident against abraham.

in my opinion, dirrell's speed, quick feet, unorthodox style will be to much for abraham to deal with. abraham will struggle to time dirrell. dirrell is very rangy. i think he will be in and out before abraham is able to set up any offense.

abraham could always end it with one lucky bomb of his. buti n terms of styles, this is a REALLY bad style matchup for him. just my opinion.

bit of a bad move using a retired sven ottke who hasnt fighted for 6 years as your sparring partner.....dirrel is fast and will create problems for arthur. unless of course arthur catches him with one clean shot like he did against taylor..
