[QUOTE=wazaa.;7419795 Amir shouldve just fought but I will still defend Amir no matter what.[/QUOTE]
wazaa,I was hoping after Khan had split from Warren things would change but it looks like team Khan have picked up his deceases and the pattern so far will continue for a very long time. I have no faith in Khan changing the pattern of his career. Ducking Maidana who is not very good is inexcusable. Amir Khan is set to continue to let you down . You have plenty of defending to look forward to.

btw it's not the kid's fault you guys had to pay ppv for him when he was fighting scrubs.

      blame warren.

the kid has only 22-23 fights. he just won his belt.

let's wait a little bit before calling him a coward.

remember it's not just him. there are his promoters/managers/trainers/advisors too.

      he's a kid , he'll listen to them.

they probably know what they're doing.

Why is Team Maidana prepared to sign the deal??? I dont get it...Maidana can lose his next fight and then what??? Just for dates on GBP/HBO? If he had fought and beat Khan they(GBP/HBO) would have no choice but to showcase him again. Whats going on right now is just plain pathetic.

It will be a combination of pay off money future GBP/HBO date deals and a lousy financial reward for fighting Khan. Those will be the inducements for taking the deal. I hope Maidana forces the mandatory, then team Khan will be forced to either fight or drop the title. Team Khan will buff that the title is no big deal anyway as they are fighting Marquez but I can't see what is in it for Marquez if Khan does not have a title. So I can see the real possibility of dropping the title and the Marquez fight falling out of bed. That would give Khan the opportunity of fighting lots of canned opponents in the States and building his profile. The problem with being a champion is that sooner or later it forces real fights something his record so far shows he is not interested in. Khan has a gullible fan base that is quite content to watch him fight no hopers. Why take risks when there is easy money out there

I don't care how many people say Khan is ducking fighters. As long as he doesn't vacate his title and keeps defending it, he's the real deal in my eyes.

Blame the promoters for the fighters he takes on.

If HBO would just do what they are suppossed to do ,BUY THE BEST FIGHTS NOT who they get CONVINCED is the most MARKETABLE FIGHTERS the sport wouldn't be on life support.HBO"YOURE DESTROYING BOXING,I HEARD HBO BOXING MIGHT BE GONE BY NEXT YEAR BUY THE FIGHTS NOT THE FIGHTERS.As for "I AM A CON" I mean Amir Khan-what did you expect did you see Prescott wobble him with a JAB,that fight lasted 60 seconds, when Willie Limond at the end of his carrear drops you their are some SERIOUS CHIN PROBLEMS.

I think the reason why Khan signed with GBP was because he wanted another year or two of protecting and Warren was ready to get him fights with the likes of Bradley and Maidana.

All signs are starting to point in the same direction ----> Amir Khan is a coward.

You really think Warren would actually put Khan in with Bradley or Maidana?? The man is a joke he took him 38 odd fights before he put Hatton in with an injury prone 35 years old Tsyzu, And even after that he wanted to milk Hatton even more, It took him 40-0 odd fights before he put Calzaghe in with Hopkins and both fighters were above 28 years old and you think he would put a 23 years old cashcow in with Bradley or Maidana??? No way jose.. We are lucky he didnt put Khan on the WBU while fighting turkish pizza delivery drivers..

It's not a matter of opinion, it's just fact. Warren got the Kotelnik fight by guaranteeing the Maidana-Ortiz winner a shot at Khan, which is the main reason Khan left Warren. This has been confirmed independently by numerous journalists. And only a few days before the split, which Warren didn't know was about to happen, Warren was telling Sky that the Khan-Maidana fight was close to being signed.

And Bradley's team have stated several times that they were in advanced negotiations with Warren for a fight with Khan in the summer, and Showtime have confirmed that they would have shown that fight in the US. Why would Bradley's team and Showtime lie about that? You're letting your dislike of Warren cloud your objectivity. Warren presumably thought both were winnable fights; the Maidana fight was a condition of getting the Kotelnik fight; the Bradley fight would have been very lucrative for Khan; and of course both would have been held in the UK, which would have given Khan hometown advantage.
