Khan will fight the best, his division is full of tope boxers and he will unify the division..... people just don't know khan and are spreading RUMOURS LIKE LITTLE GIRLS..... he is brave and Freddy is wise, it takes time to build a world class fighter and fights. You don't fight a top fighter first then the lesser ones!!!!

I feel bad for JMM... He is such a terrific fighter... A sure fire HOF'er... And, Golden boy is treating him like Garbage...

What I find interesting about the deal is Maidana has to stay away from Khan for 3 fights but his contract with Golden Boy is for 3 fights. It seems to me that there is a real chance avoiding Maidana was a condition of Khan joining Golden Boy. Is anyone really surprised by any of this? It is completely consistent with Khan's career to date. His career has been designed, taking on smaller old featherweights, avoiding British and European title fights and getting a really easy run at a really poor world champion in Kotelnik is not a coincidence. Even his long term fans now are no longer being fooled and getting fed up. The excuses, lies, spin and bull**** coming out of Team Khan is now wearing thin.

If khan needs more easy fights to build himself up then he should've kept his mouth closed instead of calling out all the top jr. welters. You say khan is brave but yet he ducked Maidana in broad daylight, I bet you can't give me a logical explanation for that. You'll probably say that Maidana brings no money, but save your words because if khan is "brave" then money shouldn't be an issue.

****ty deal. Combined with this and scheduling fights on the same night as Showtime, Im getting pretty pissed at HBO.

Brave Khan has avoided rematches with Prescott and Barrera (Barrera wanted a rematch because the cut really should have rendered the fight a no contest). Brave Khan avoided British and European honors on the way up and is happy to bravely say he will fight anyone but hide behind his promoters and Roach when they decide against an opponent.

                      it's golden boy promotions.

there's no proof of this current topic but plenty of how crappy hbo shows have been since they gave golden boy blank dates.
