The bottom line is this......floyd vs Mosley will happen. Floyd will sign the contract. This is just hype. It is working. The internet is boxing's biggest asset. It is promoted and discussed on youtube and forums such as this one more so than other mainstream sports.

Fans post tribute videos and debate the outcomes of fantasy fights and trash other fighters and defend their favourites. Bottom line....boxing is far from dead.....in fact the way i see it is a sleeping giant.....we just need to see the right fights get made......and it would help if their was an American heavyweight worth talking about!!!!

If Floyd fights and beats Pac and SSM this sport will be back into the mainstream.

If Pac fights and beats SSM and Floyd = same thing.


floyd can leave this sport a hero.....it's all up to him. If he fights and clearly beats Pac and SSM even all his haters will tip their hats to him. Haters will become fans. Floyd will become a gentleman and he can be placed in the top 20 ATG. Ball is in his court to make it happen.

Floyd is prob just trying raise Mosley's odds against him so he can make some extra cash by people thinking he's scared. I don't think any boxer is "afraid" of another boxer but if this fight doesn't get made Mayweather will be crucified and rightfully so.

First and foremost this is a boxing fan writing this. I do think Paquiao is a good fighter and takes on good fighters consistently. I do agree that Mayweather is a talented fighter. He is very good defensively. It's a shame that his best defense is on display outside the ring!

He is already a millionaire 10 times over, it's legacy time now. So you respect money over legacy, is that your position? By the way that's rhetorical I already know the answer. It's funny how you say you knew where Mayweather stood years ago as he has stated he fights for paychecks, well the reverse argument can be used to criticize him since we also knew the same thing.

Schaefer knows whats really going on here. I think this is just hype for the fight. Shcaefer never said if he tried to contact Floyd, why not? The whole thing sounds like a game to me, and why, I don't know. This fight doesn't need hype. Because of the whole issue with the last fight, Floyd can't afford to pull out of this one now, unless he really doesn't care what boxing fans think.
