DID Floyd sign the contract yet?

You guys shouldn't be celebrating yet. Remember, Everyone is in agreement but it didn't specify PBF. He's the wild card. He makes the decisions.

Mosley signed the contract on Friday and Mayweather’s signature is imminent

writer is a liar or dumb

This writer is a liar or just plain dumb for the following reasons.

      1. Mosley just said in an interview with Elie Seckbach of Fanhouse.com that Floyd got pushed into this fight after negotiation with pacquiao fell.
      2. Floyd said in an interview with DJ Whoo Kid, Pac's fast rise over the last few years as the reason he took a hard line with the random drug tests.

This is just means that Floyd is clearly targeting Pacquiao on the blood test and demanding this to Mosley is just his tool to target Pac.

      3. You are a liar by saying: Pacquiao’s requests on purse parity, weight, glove size, and even monetary penalties for failure to make weight were granted by Camp Mayweather.

Purse parity. Pac is the champ and lb for lb king. He wanted 60-40 sharing but agreed to 50-50...So if this writer has brain, he should know who bet. pac and floyd agreed to purse sharing?

Gloves - Who is demanding Pac to wear 10 oz. It's Mayweather! You should know that the gloves issue was resolved prior to the choice of the venue and Texas commission requires 8 oz for 147 lbs. While Nevada commission states that 8 oz gloves can be negotiated among fighters for 147 lbs.

Penalty - Since floyd agreed to 147 lb. why he would come heavier than that? To cheat again? The request from Pac cannot be considered a demand because all Mayweather has to do is to not cheat by coming to the fight not overweight.

      4. Writer is playing dumb. There is a 2005 video of Pac blaming the 10 oz. gloves he was to forced to wear and the blood drawn from him 2 days before the fight for his loss to Morales.

      5. Pac sued his promoter after his lost to Morales and GBP signed him up. Obviously, GBP knows what are pacman's weaknesses.

      6. This writer seems to believe that it's OK for Mayweather to cheat by coming overweight., but not okey for Pac to refuse to submit to a rule that does not exist in any professional sports association in America, including boxing and MMA.

      7. This writer is dumb for failing to notice the true motive of GBP and Mayweather to force Pac to submit to blood test.

Why wouldnt Shane except the drug testing? Of course Shane will do for the simple fact that he has not problem with needles and second hes looking for BIG MONEY FIGHTS to close off his career. So yes, Shane will take the PED tests even though he ADMITED he used the drug.

So if theirs not point in Shane winning cause Floyd can use the cop out excuse that Shane used Roids...

Shane vs. Floyd would be pointless then considering everyones excusing Pacquiao for roids when he clearly passed every test while Shane admits to using the drug..

You know what! If Mostley wins Pacquiao should fight Mostley. For Floyd Pacquiao should not fight for 50/50 split but 70/30 for Pacquiao. He must be dreaming every night that the 40K that he should be taking from the fight went to the drain…tsk tsk tsk poor Floyd…

                  This deserves a response:

1: So what? Mosley is going to tell himself what he has to for a mental edge. Mayweather still took the fight.

2: And? In one of the previous pieces done on the subject, my first, I noted that Pac had a right to be pissed because the request was an accusation. I have continually noted Pac has never failed a test and that there are historical examples suggesting this is all natural. In the same, I researched his pre-fight/in-fight weights to show he's been a Welter in body for a while.

3: I don't care what Pac is in terms of belts or P4P. Hopkins had both those advantages over Oscar and took around 70-30. Mayweather is proven the bigger draw. He's sold more PPV overall. Against every common opponent, he's outsold Pac, doubling him in some cases. Pac-Cotto marginally outsold Marquez even as an acknowledged much better match. Pac had little case to ask for more; Floyd did. Floyd settled at 50-50. Floyd, while he blew weight with Marquez, has never come in over 147 for a Welter fight and still agreed to $10 mill per pound. A negotiation goes both ways; Floyd didn't hold up on any of the points you're talking about when Pac countered.

4: Floyd gave on the gloves. It's a cold fact that Pac walked away from the fight over an issue Mosley didn't blink on. May's side was willing to negotiate down to 14 days as cutoff (never disputed during Arum's ceaseless spewing of BS), Pac allowed an official statement to the effect that he just wanted to be left alone the last "few" days before the fight (always reasonable I thought), and somehow Pac/Top Rank mathematic understanding comes up with few = 24 days.

5: So what? Negotiations are about trying to find whatever advantages are available. Pac asking Cotto for a catchweight for instance. Are you insisting that I'm dumb because I don't think a negotiation which didn't favor Pac 100% is evil?

6: I never said either. Pac had every right to say no.

7: Again I point to what is known of the negotiations. Pac said taking blood a few days before the fight would weaken him. Few does not equal 24. Few doesn't even equal 14.

I'll repeat what I've said before. I lean to Manny being clean; I see no reason to believe otherwise. My respect for Pac's accomplishments is well laid out by the fact that I've written more about it than ANYONE. But Mayweather, in ending up with Mosley, comes out of this mess looking better for now. He answers the "May fears Welters" argument and cast doubt, in some minds, on his chief rival as best of this time.

Yes, and you have to consider his personality and being a Filipino who came from a poor family, SELF-RESPECT is VALUED. Money is not everything, plus the fact the he's already a multi-millionaire just a Dave said on his post.
