Mayweather will beat them both and make haters look ******

Man you Floyd haters no nothing about boxing, i see one comment where somebody is saying ,"Ofcourse Shane will take the drug test because needles don't bother him". You fool!! Pacquiao has multiple tattoos mosley has none and besides pacman is suppose be the tough one and according to the haters Floyd is the scarey one but yet needles don't bother Floyd and on top of that he's fighting the man that pacquiao was afraid of now (Mosley). You had another fool saying he heard that Floyd was forced in to this Mosley fight, now let me ask u this how many fights has Floyd ever been force to take? Floyd is is a buisnessman and he knew this was the next big fight to Manny and also he's competing with Manny PPV wise . Mayweather vs Mosley will be much bigger than Pacquiao vs Clottey. Prediction : Mayweather will beat Mosley in a tough fight and then beat Pacman easy because he's to easy to hit.

2: And? In one of the previous pieces done on the subject, my first, I noted that Pac had a right to be pissed because the request was an accusation. I have continually noted Pac has never failed a test and that there are historical examples suggesting this is all natural. In the same, I researched his pre-fight/in-fight weights to show he's been a Welter in body for a while.

3: I don't care what Pac is in terms of belts or P4P. Hopkins had both those advantages over Oscar and took around 70-30. Mayweather is proven the bigger draw. He's sold more PPV overall. Against every common opponent, he's outsold Pac, doubling him in some cases. Pac-Cotto marginally outsold Marquez even as an acknowledged much better match. Pac had little case to ask for more; Floyd did. Floyd settled at 50-50. Floyd, while he blew weight with Marquez, has never come in over 147 for a Welter fight and still agreed to $10 mill per pound. A negotiation goes both ways; Floyd didn't hold up on any of the points you're talking about when Pac countered.

4: Floyd gave on the gloves. It's a cold fact that Pac walked away from the fight over an issue Mosley didn't blink on. May's side was willing to negotiate down to 14 days as cutoff (never disputed during Arum's ceaseless spewing of BS), Pac allowed an official statement to the effect that he just wanted to be left alone the last "few" days before the fight (always reasonable I thought), and somehow Pac/Top Rank mathematic understanding comes up with few = 24 days.

5: So what? Negotiations are about trying to find whatever advantages are available. Pac asking Cotto for a catchweight for instance. Are you insisting that I'm dumb because I don't think a negotiation which didn't favor Pac 100% is evil?

6: I never said either. Pac had every right to say no.

7: Again I point to what is known of the negotiations. Pac said taking blood a few days before the fight would weaken him. Few does not equal 24. Few doesn't even equal 14.

I'll repeat what I've said before. I lean to Manny being clean; I see no reason to believe otherwise. My respect for Pac's accomplishments is well laid out by the fact that I've written more about it than ANYONE. But Mayweather, in ending up with Mosley, comes out of this mess looking better for now. He answers the "May fears Welters" argument and cast doubt, in some minds, on his chief rival as best of this time.
Lets not count the chicks before the eggs hatches.

Floyd hasn't signed the contract yet and even if he signed it, May 1 is still 3 months away. Anything can happen or might happen along the way.

Let's wait until May 1 when Mosley & Floyd both steps into the ring.

No matter how you go about it, his decision to not go through with the testing has put a shadow on his career.
Turning down your biggest payday can't be because of greed!

Sure Pac would also have been criticised if the DLH and Hatton fights had fallen through as both nearly did. But the fact is, it is about self-respect with him.

If Floyd had really wanted the fight he would not have used a smear campaign, end of story. Anyone who knows anything about Pac could have told him that doing that was certain to kill the fight. He could have got his 14 day cut-off if he hadn't smeared Pac and publicly (if implicitly) accused him of being a cheat.

The statement was just as pointless when made into its own thread. he didn't really want it...he wanted Pacquiao. Instead, he took just as tough a fight for less and the world is going to see Mosley-Mayweather.

                Sounds good to me.

Isn't this the best of outcomes?

Now we get 3 great fights instead of only 1

Looking forward to a great Boxing 2010

Floydie Show Them You Are The Man.... Sign The Contract...

...So Shane can send you back to retirement!!,,,,this fight will be a classic. Hope it happens. This fight will probably generate 850k-975k PPV buys, it will be nice if it breaks a million so Shane can take home extra cash...

boxing will never die....don't let the MMA fan boys fool you. Boxing is on it's way up....it had a resurgent 2009, and whilst we may or may not see May vs Pac, the other fights they are taking are both capable of breaking 1m PPV buys...in the case of May vs Mosley it will def break the 1 mil mark.

We have the super 6 tournament happening. Boxing is big in the UK, Germany and thanks to guys like Bute there are thousands of fans coming to live gates in Canada. Boxing also does ok in Australia aswell.

All it needs is one trigger to re-enter the mainstream psyche and media. Think a young Tysonesque American champ rising through the HW ranks in a brutal fashion and eventually taking on the Klitschko brothers. Or mayweather dominating Mosley and doing as promised and cleaning out the WW division. If he were to do that he would turn alot of staunch Floyd haters into fans.
