IMO, I think the main reason Flyod taking this fight and especially of a talk for rematch is a fixed fight. (Im hoping Im wrong). Mosley is possibly guaranteed 30million for 2 fights and ppv percentage.

floyds a business man, therefore needs to weigh up risk against reward...pac maybe is too much risk right now for the reward...if he fights this one and the PPV is better than pac/clottey, then he would also have the upper hand in negotiations against pac for next fight, maybe gloves/ring size and lower the risk for the same big reward..IMO

Without a doubt he was forced into this. Mosley ended up losing his fight right when this fight fell apart. If Floyd didn't take it, sooooo many would be on him for why didn't he take on Mosley? He knows Mosley would do the ****** tests because of his part steroid use and the fact that Mosley isn't anywhere near the driving seat that Pacquiao is. He can lay more demands down on Mosley and he'll have to accept them. And who else will give him a nice paycheck with Pac out? Floyd is such a hypocrit though that you can't believe a word he says. Remember all the talk about why he wouldn't fight Mosley? Let's forget all those interviews ever happened.

                      What?

Floyd offered the fight when both were undefeated and in there primes, Mosley rejected it for his reasons. The fight has came back into demand since Mosley beat Margarito, so he will be fighting him a year and a half later than people have asked recently.

The funny thing about this whole thing is, if he decided not to fight Mosley, you would claim that he is ducking him, now the fight has a high possiblity of happening, hes picking on washed up fighters. The guy can't win, at all... not in your eyes and in a lot of guys on this forum anyway.

After Miguel Cotto got beat like that against Pacquiao thats a no, and he needs to have some rest. Why hasn't any of these other guys fought Williams either then? Cotto hasn't, Manny hasn't, Mosley hasn't... so why just put it on Floyd?

Manny fighting Paul Williams is a much bigger fight than Manny fighting Clottey. But I forgot, that isn't the way it works around here, around here double standards is the way forward.

Once again, you constantly talk **** about Floyd, if the fight doesn't happen you will say Floyd is a ***** and needs to man up and step up to competition, when he actually steps up and plans to fight him, your just saying "Well he was pressed into it", Mosley would say that about Floyd... hes about to fight him, and it isn't like they have been best pals over the past year.

True, but we don't know what this rematch clause means... it might mean that if the fight is close then the rematch clause is in order. For example if its an SD and its obvious the fight was close, then a rematch is a good idea.

We don't know anything about this rematch clause yet, all we know is that there is one, we don't even know who asked for it.

Don't be butthurt that you have to give Floyd credit, if he fought anybody else you would say he was ducking Shane and being a *****, now there is a high possibility of fighting him your just trying to find ways to discredit him.

Shane isn't exactly going to praise Floyd loads, over the past year they haven't gotten on at all, Mosley has been talking **** about him nonstop, what did you expect? Oh and newsflash, he will be fighting him in 4 months... so he isn't exactly going to be looking at him like hes a saint.
