Castillo got a solid chin, but personally I don't like his style (that "inside" style that looks like clinching. The reason people don't give him credit is because plainly, and sorry Castillo fans, they don't like him. Morales and Barrera have fans because they're exciting and they are elite fighters. Same wit Gatti despite havin a only good record. Pac appeals to all kind of fans because they love watchin him. I mean, Pac's 1st debut to PPV and he made history sellin 350,000 PPv buys. The biggest in lower division history so far.

Castillo hasn't won many great and difficult fights. His record stinks. His style doesn't appeal to all type of boxing fans. He can't get a win over top opponents. All he can and fans of him can brag about is his chin and his heart, but skill wise, I dunno!

You gotta be smoking crack...seriously, stating that Castillos record stinks just because he decides to fight anybody, anytime, anyplace and still have a record of 52 wins with 7 losses in 15 years of fighting, thats 15 years of str8 up brawls where you are bound to get a few losses because the style dictates so.

You go on to say he can't get over top opponents...please put that pipe down, but you know what I'm gonna flip it on you and talk about your boy Manny, now He can't get over top opponents (Marquez, Morales, will not beat Barrera twice) His record stands at 39 wins 3 losses and 2 draws in a ten year career, if he gets to 52 wins with no more that 2 losses I might give you a cookie if not it'll be 'cause he is ducking somebody.

It isn't even a requirement for a great fighter to have EVER held a title.

Anyways, 3 title defenses, the first time he got the WBC strap. One against Stevie Johnston, the other against another former champ Cesar Bazan.

Second time around he kicked the living **** out of Juan Lazcano who was favored, for the title. Then beat Casamayor and Julio Diaz (a current title holder) in the next defenses.

Castillo is a top 15 LB4LBer.
