First off Brewster def. needs to retire... there ain't nothing Relentless anymore about him... he looked like the Brewster of old for the first 30 seconds and after it was nothing that he pretty much tried to win a boxing match... nothing against him but he won't win a boxing match...
First time I saw Helenius... even though his opponent is shot I was impressed with him... you have to see how it works against better opposition but he seems to be a natural to boxing... for such a lanky man he has good movement and feel for a boxing match... even counter shot at times... he looks natural and very loose in the ring... I think in the future he can def. take on guys like Dimitrenko and win... I don't think it will be enough ever for the elite Heavys though...
Other seen fights: Murat like stated is a smart fighter... decent to good punching power... same goes for his boxing abilities...
Sylvester is decent... I don't think he will ever beat an elite MW but if you match him right he can be a champion for a few years.Comment

One thing more thing, nearly all of Ulli Wegner's fighters are very strong-nerved and that's what wins the fight for them to 80%...
And Ulli's voice must be like a remote control: He saw that Brewster is open for the uppercut, he screams "uppercut" to Helenius and the Finn delivers what was the beginning of the end for Brewster...in 2-3 years Helenius might very well be a viable title contender...Comment

Just for you and others Nelson who were interested in the Random Testing thing... before the fight Sauerland was interviewed and he said that they had in fact signed this deal almost a year before with the NADA and that every athlete of Sauerland and everyone they are facing has it in the contracts that they are availabe for random testing...
He said it costs him around 6 figures...
But the tests were the reason why the supposed opponent got caught...
He said that the risk of loosing money is there... if a fighter gets tested positive short before a bout but he is willing to take the money risk for making sure it is a clean sport.Comment

Asikainen is half-Moroccan, yes, but at his best he was quite a celebrity here compared to other boxers. Most people in Finland have atleast heard of Asikainen while only the ones who follow boxing know who Helenius is.Is Helenius completely Finnish, though? I know Asikainen was born there, but is half Moroccan... I don't know how they perceive the latter, but he seems as suomalainen as anyone I've seen (through interviews and whatnot), despite his rather darker appearance.
That's a shame. Brewster still has name value, and more publicity should've been warranted Suomessa - especially if there's a possibility of Helenius moving up the European ranks and giving some much-needed credibility to Finnish boxing.
It'd be cool if he could face a British HW sometime. That way I'd either get to see it live, or otherwise talk to people about it around here.
The thing is that Asikainen always represented Finland, while Helenius confusingly seems to fight out of Germany while representing Sweden.
Still, I think the Helenius-Brewster fight should have received a bit more coverage here, it's a fairly notable fight even if Brewster is old, one-eyed and washed up at this point in his career. Most news sites seem to have reported the outcome of Helenius-Brewster now, but there was little talk before the fight happened.
I don't care whether Helenius is Finnish or not though, he seems to be a decent heavyweight prospect who is stepping up fast and has good management. I'm looking forward to seeing him fight again.Comment
