I used to have a reproduction of the painting in your avatar back in HS years. I actually aquired it from my HS arts lab.

Good win for the Finn who could fight for a EU/EBU belt next...this was Helenius 11th pro fight...

Meaning that his fights aren't as talked about as Asikainen's were. In fact I didn't find anything on the news about his upcoming fight with Brewster.

I still hope they don't "rush" Helenius because a win over Brewster at this point doesn't necessarily prove he is world class yet.

Is Helenius completely Finnish, though? I know Asikainen was born there, but is half Moroccan... I don't know how they perceive the latter, but he seems as suomalainen as anyone I've seen (through interviews and whatnot), despite his rather darker appearance.

That's a shame. Brewster still has name value, and more publicity should've been warranted Suomessa - especially if there's a possibility of Helenius moving up the European ranks and giving some much-needed credibility to Finnish boxing.

It'd be cool if he could face a British HW sometime. That way I'd either get to see it live, or otherwise talk to people about it around here.

I am watching the fight right now. I'm quite impressed by the novice finn. He actually gets some good leverage into his punches despite his lanky appearance.

Helenius was born in Stockholm I think, his father is Finnish and they moved from Sweden to Finland when Robert was like 4 years old

well Sauerland man Francesco Pianeta has the EU belt to so that fight is easy to make if Sauerland wants it...
