manny has a lot of bandwagoners. every fighter who gets popular does.

pac's bandwagoners have been around a while though.

I would say that there was a smaller core of hardcore Manny fans before '08, though. I mean, it was nothing close to this back then. And yes- the guys who have followed Manny for that long also followed boxing. But most of the newer guys just tune in for Pacquiao and spew bull****.

'06, and '07 were the ****.

Even the Pinoy-Mexican (aka xcaret vs. everybody) rivalry was more knowledgable than it is now. People knew their fighters, and the sport in general.

Even though there was always a level of ignorance, it was not to this extreme. Every other thread is "Fraud Duckweather is GAY!!!!1111" or "Manny Pacroid is FRAWDDDD!!!!!"

Yeah I felt bad for the Cotto fans too. They got brought down to earth quickly. Some of them even became full time pac stans like Perro.

that's to be expected though. more popular a boxer gets , the more ******ed fans they get.


one thing i like to point out though...... i find a lot of times people don't realize that a guy is a pinoy/pachak when he's a good poster.

when it's a supreme ******* though you can tell he's pinoy/pachak from a mile away.

that's what makes it look bad.
