I'm a big Calzaghe fan but I've realized that it really doesn't matter what others have to say regarding a fighter that you may like personally. You state what you think about them and then it has been stated, if someone missed that post then they missed it, no need to come back and defend a boxer's rep every time someone voices a different opinion. I know the boxers I favor and why I favor them, I don't need to keep restating the reasons if I have done so already. I actually enjoy reading through the crazy posts of others now more so than posting- keeping up with the arguments that others get into futile as their attempts are at convincing the rival party to agree. Cheapest entertainment around at times

The Gamboa bandwagon just started, I am just waiting for the hate to begin.

Williams and Dawson, especially the former gets a good amount hate on here, despite taking on all comers in 3 different weight while staying humble. Not sure what's not to like about Williams. There's just hate everywhere, lol.

all these ***** kids weren't around yet. floyd didn't have a huge following 'til after 2007.

before delahoya 2007 , most guys liked floyd. floyd had very few haters back then. he had few nuthuggers too though.

most guys like me and others , liked him enough or at least didn't hate him. everyone thought he was skilled. could be the next roy jones but more polished. could be the next pernell whitaker. stuff like that.

the ****** floyd fans didn't come around 'til after 2007 and after wwe and dancing with the stars.



his nuthuggers don't realize that though because they weren't around. they think that because floyd was a champion earlier and was top 10 p4p earlier , that floyd has had fanatic fans way before pacquiao. not true.

Also I do not think the place is all that much different, I forget exactly when I started lurking and reading the board but it was a quite a while before I made an account it was basically the same. To take it a step further I would say this place is the exact same as every other message board on the internet with the only real difference being topic.

Even before I started comming here to read I highly doubt this was some kind of boxing discussion utopia, the names are different but what gets talked about is basically the same.

From now, I try to avoid any thread that has to do with Pac or Mayweather. It's just too hard to make a point or have a discussion with all the trolls and haters these guys have.
