    The Rings Top 10:

    1. Pacman
    2. Mayweather
    3. Mosley
    4. Hopkins
    5. JMM
    6. Donaire
    7. Cotto
    8. Cabellero
    9. Dawson
    10. Williams

There is a ranking system. Guys move up and down. Calderon and Poonsawat arent even ranked.
Look at that list... Why is JMM #5? A few months ago he was #2... now why is he #5? Cuz, he lost a weight-class he didn't belong in? That makes no sense. Cuz is P4P is not a division... JMM fought outside of his division... Why get punished for that?

Why is Williams #10? Lets be real if P-Will was the same height, same reach, same weight as Calderon would Williams beat him? I don't think so... And, that is the meaning of P4P so why is Williams ranked and not Calderon...

I think Poonsawat can beat Caballero now if he can get inside his long reach... But, if Caballero was the same size, same height, same reach as Poonsawat. Could Caballero beat him? I say no... Again that is what P4P means... So why is Caballero ahead of Poonsawat?

Who wins if they were the same height and same reach Gamboa vs Caballero

Who wins if they were the same height, same weight, and same reach Rigondeaux or Paul Williams?

Pacquaio still has to beat a 147 lb fighter. I don't rate the win over Cotto as a legit win over a 147 lber because Team Pacquiao made him come in at 145 lbs.

I wanted to add a poll but I'm not going to. This website is being controlled by *******s. Instead, I just want a normal discussion. *******s don't need to reply.

Do you guys agree that Floyd Mayweather Jr makes a case to be P4P KING again or should Manny Pacquiao still be considered the P4P KING?

Thats like someone making a case for Rigondeaux being the P4P King because hes highly skilled. Its laughable.

To answer the thread: If Floyd dominates Mosley. The ring will make him Number 1 in the world and thats what we go by. Everytime someone asks me who is the best fighter in the world. I say Pacman. Do I think hes more skilled then Floyd? No. Do I think he beats Floyd? No. But he IS the P4P King.
Becuase you can make a case for Pac... He is one of the true definition of P4P king... In the last 2yrs he has been champ in 4 weight-classes... He is doing what P4P means because he is doing it against bigger fighters... If Pac keeps fighting he is going to lose sooner or later cuz he is fighting bigger fighters stronger fighters... but, same size, same reach, and same height you would see Pac have an easier time...

Jro you know the answers to ALL these questions. The Ring and quite frankly NO boxing lists rank the Top 10 like that anymore.

In a P4P sense a 6-4 Gamboa would beat Williams. NOW put a 126 Pound Gamboa in there with a 165 Pound Williams. Now we have Gamboa getting rushed to the Hospital.

Ring ranks based on skills, achievements, and resume. YOU know that.

But, it shouldn't be that way and that is the whole point... Floyd losses to Paul Williams and he will get dropped... But, if Floyd and Paul were the same size Floyd wins quite easily... The whole P4P discussion is nonsense...

Floyd and Pac have been moving up fighting bigger fighters. Pacs limit is WW IMO. He can comptere there. If he loses. He lost to the better man.

Hes going to lose because he will come across someone better then him or with a style thats all wrong for him. Period. The bigger man wont win. The better man will.

If Pac loses to Clottey Match 13th.

On March 14th Floyd will be Ranked P4P NUmber 1 by the ring and you know it.

the only way Mayweather would become p4p again is when he fight paquiao and the winner will be p4p

I know that but that's the whole... The way the RIng is doing it is wrong... Because, it shouldn't be that way... Because, I am still trying to figure out what Caballero skills, achievements, and resume he has to be considered in the top 10? I mean Cordoba, Dunne beat Cordoba, Poonsawat beat Dunne, same size Poonsawat beats Caballero, because Poonsawat is more skilled... So how is Caballero in the top 10?

So wait if Pac losses to Clottey... Clottey is the better it had nothing to do with size?

But its what everyone goes by. The true meaning most people on this forum dont even know where P4P came from. Or who the first P4P King was or what it meant then.

But now bro P4P means something else. Its way for boxing to have a general consensus on who the best 10 fighters on the planet are. An All things equal P4P list would look like this:

                      1. Gamboa
                      2. Rigondeaux
                      3. Mayweather
                      4. Pacman
                      5. Hasegawa
                      6. Calderon
                      7. Poonsawat
                      8. John
                      9. Donaire
                      10. Perez/Moreno/Mares
