It's obvious that almost all fighters decline as they get older. Time waits for no man.

since when is bloodtesting not important in sport?
where u make millions of $, pac has no right to refuse a random bloodtest, who is this midget kidding ?
pac also wanted floyd to pay 10m$ penalty per LB over the agreed weight-limit, thats also an " unnecessary demand " but floyd said no problem.
when u want to proof the world u r the best, u dont act like pac did.
arum doesnt want pacquiao to fight floyd, it would be too hard for him to see pac gets his ass kicked against the guy who showed him the door
T3d. If you are calling Clottey a bum, then you should take yourself outside and hit yourself about 8 or 9 times in the face with a bit of wood with a nail sticking out of it.

If you started boxing at 20, you'll still learn and improve until 40 if you have a healthy lifestyle.
If you competed early like 8 years old, that's a different story.

While you get a few guys like Mosley and Hop who are still damn good after 35, on the whole most fighters decline, Mosley has declined a little speed wise, but seems to have gotten smarter with a better corner now.

At the lower weights (I consider them to be 130 and under) nearly every fighter has declined substantially or is well and truly done by age 35. Calderon is an exception still on top at 34 but he has slipped off a bit. Darchinyan is getting up there for a guy at those weights too but he is a puncher so he could be around for a while longer.

Izzy is like 31 or 32 and he is done IMO. Rafa is like 34 or so and he looks just about finished too. Especially Izzy, he was even on the cards vs a dude who hadn't fought in a while and had lost his last 6 fights, not a good omen at all.

Overall you can say most guys are out of their primes in their 30's but it varies. Fernando Vargas is like 13 years younger than B-Hop, and Hop is still on top and Vargas is completely shot.

Rid**** Bowe was wiped out after the wars with Evander (he looked awful in the 3rd fight, and if Evander didn't fade he would have been lucky not to get ktfo) and then got pummelled by Golota but he was already finished by then. He was 28.
