Khan has fought his whole career at lightweight apart from a couple. JMM is the lightweight world champion whats wrong with him moving up 5 pounds to 140lbs? as smaller fighters get older they generally move up in weight anyway.

Khan should fight Maidanna, no doubt about that but if worst comes to worst, fighting p4p no.3 best fighter in the world instead is not bad at all
