Hopkins, moved out of a division where he was the same size into bigger divisions, with bigger guys, Khan is fighting smaller guys and if he moves up, then he will be fighting guys his own size.

I never said Khan was a bum mate, but he needs to fight prime, contenders his own size for once, he is the champion now, he Khan't keep swerving the heavy hitters all his career. Champions defend, duckers vacate.

I must admit im slightly disgusted at the ducking of Maidana (looks like Roach doing) but im gonna just take it as we don't have many good fighters to support atm and Roach is a great trainer.

I'd rather see him fight Maidana then Marquez but i still think Marquez/khan is a good fight mate, 2 of Marquez best wins came at 135. He needs to face a puncher some time soon again though.

Agreed, i mean don't get me wrong it will be a good fight, and Marquez will pose a tough challenge, but size man, the kid is huge, and regardless of how old he is, he is a champion now, not an up and comer, you need to defend your championship, can't keep ducking punchers, at the end of the day his chin isn't gonna gain muscle, his defence may improve, but will always be open for punchers like Maidana - is he gonna swerve him til he retires?

If I remember rightly Khan bottled and over the hill shot Jon Thaxton, he will only fight fighters who are either blown up or just past their sell by date, same as most of Wank Warren fighters, his leaving of Wank aside the Americans will not be fooled as easily as the British fight fans.

i kinda agree, he's been circling a little around the top contenders. i think him and Bradley would be good.. but Marquez is gonna be a good fight though, ppl shouldnt underestimate him.

I think they want to build his resume with marquee names first and hype him up the easy way rather then put him in their with the lions (which i believe he is one to) and then possibly put him in a mega fight

u guys saw what happened to ortiz and arreola(is he a gpb fighter?) when they were thrown in with lions

so they might be preserving young khan for the moment
