I'm xorry, but Mosley would have eaten up Mayweather at lightweight. Mosley defended 8-10 times and won all by KO. I don't know when I've seen anyone as startlingly fantastic as Shane Mosley at lightweight. Not since Macho Camacho anyway, and nobody as good since.
Before that fight ODLH cemented himself as an HOF'er and put in work, he even went to middle to challenge himself against Bhop, at least he took a chance. Pac has put in work before and now.
You think Mayweather would ever take a chance and fight a guy like Sergio Martinez? In terms of contextual arguments, we're comparing taking on challenges....
You dumb mother****er Mayweather fought ODLH before Pac has, and he fought him at 154 not a dried 147 so take Pac's dic out of your mouth and see him for what he really is!!!!
You *******s are some silly mofos and really have so much hate that you can't see the real picture. Mayweather called out Mosley a few times when both were in their primes! Mayweather wanted Cotto in the past but Bob Arum said it was too soon to put Cotto in against someone like Mayweather. Mayweather only wanted random blood tests against Pac but Pac ran like a pinoy coward!!!!
Mayweather is about money and legacy whether you want to believe it or not!!!
I hope this fight really happen and neither of them will feign injury and then cancel it,Or for any other reason.
I've seen the news article somewhere Ellerbe saying that Mosley signed the contract agreed to such and such....Right off the bat Floyd already owned him!!!
He will enter the ring as Floyd B*tch and he will lose the fight.
As much as I dislike Floyd I still want him to win over Mosley for the climactic Pac (I hope he wins over Clottey) vs.Floyd encounter.
I 100% unequivocally believe that Mayweather was forced into taking a fight against Mosley, because I asked you who else would he have fought if he didn't want to lose more credibility?
And yes to your second question....again I 100% believe wholeheartedly and unequivocally that Mayweather was looking for an out against Pac.
I 100% unequivocally believe that you are a hater to the highest against Mayweather and really don't see his skills because you are so blind with hate and dispair.
It's people like you that makes me wonder why do you come on this site to bash him instead of going to a Pac site and praising the "steroid user"? If you have so much hate against Floyd why do you even come to this site to argue? It's all senseless to me. I don't like Manny at all because I know he is a juicer and for the proof it's in the pudding.
Floyd never backed out of his fight against Manny. He agreed to every demand from Pac; but Pac would not agree to a simple random blood test, so my guess is that he have to be taking to win.
Not some BS excuse like" I'm afraind of needles" or "I don't want to be Floyd to dictate to me"!! It's all BS with Bob and Freddie and Ariza and Manny!!!
I can't see Mosley letting himself get potshot, hes going to come to fight. Mayweather points is a popular pick but I'll just wait for the fight to see quien es mas macho!!
Boxers/Promoters and trainers are always looking for the right fight based on risk/reward ratio. It happens all the time fighter (a) and his camp want a fight with fighter (b), but his camp doesn't see it as a big enough payday for the risk involved or fighter (a) hasn't built himself up enough to deserve a shot. No one is taking on all challengers today. Not Mosley, not Mayweather, not Cotto, not Pavlik, not Dawson, not Hopkins. They said Margarito was a warrior and most feared but it took two years of Paul Williams calling him out and becoming his "MANDATORY" challenger before he would get in the ring with P. Will. The Klitschkos are about as close as it comes to taking on all challengers, but even they have their reservations as it pertains to risk vs. reward. None of the top guys want to mix it up in a high risk -low reward bout with a me against the world opponent especially not the *******s so called King God Manny-pac. A fighter who has worked his way to the pinnacle of the sport has deserved the right to fight the big money fights against the fighters that they want to fight and that deserve a shot against them. It may not always be whats best for the sport but it is the nature of the sport as it is today. I don't know why all the criticism for Floyd not taking dangerous fights that are not the most lucrative, when in reality any and every fight is a risky fight and every opponent is dangerous and has realistic shot of beating you in this sport. Take Mtagwa against Lopez last year, look at the fight between then unknown and obsolete Winky Wright taking it to Shane Mosley in what was supposed to be a tune up fight for Mosley. Any time two fighters step into the ring, there is no guarantee that the preconcieved outcome will be confirmed. Thats why they fight the fights in the ring and not on paper. Haters say Floyd beat alot of nobodies, I say he made them look like nobodies. Lastly, when Floyd makes Shane look 60 years old I don't want to hear u Floyd-haters saying he cherry picked an old SSM and beat him up. No matter who Floyd beats, yall will always discredit his wins and find excuses for his success. Pac was already trying to lay the groundwork for his excuse had they fought and he lost." He was blood drained " I guess yall will say SSM was age drained.
