    and?

ray is a boxer. workrate guys have good matchups with boxers.

my position is manny is a power puncher going forward. generally those guys do well with workrate guys who go forward.

generally the workrate guys who are use to going forward end up getting backed up.

yes ray robinson couldn't knock out armstrong. doesn't mean anything.

it's not like armstrong hasn't been koed before.

besides manny doesn't have to knock him out to beat him.

i like the matchup with armstrong.

armstrong (even the version who fought at 147) is smaller than most 130 and 135 guys fighting now.

duran destroys pacquiao prime for prime 130-154.

      i mean destroy.
Armstrong WAS a power puncher. Hed beat the piss out of Pac.

KO'ing Henry Armstrong is easier said than done. The only time he was ever stopped anywhere close to his prime was on cuts caused by lacing and thumbing by the G.O.A.T dirty fighter of all time Fritzie Zivic.

I'd say that Ceferino Garcia was a bigger puncher than Pacquiao, outrageous as it may sound to some, and Armstrong took his best without blinking.

ummm..... from the little i've seen of ****cide hank (and i'm talking about very little) and from what i read , armstrong had some good power but not really a one punch knock out guy.

he was a volume puncher from what little i know about him.

we need to get the boxing history guys in here.

            relax kimo sabi.

i never said pacquiao would ko hank easily.

that moron i was talking to just assumed it because i said pac was a "power puncher" and "power" guys do well against "volume" guys.

as if a power puncher can only win by ko?

Problem with fantasy fights is that Pacquiao would tend to lose every one of them. Before he fought Dela Hoya, "boxing experts" said that it was a mismatch and that Dela Hoya would take Pacquiao's head off, Hatton was bigger and stronger and would walk over Pacquiao, and that Cotto would pummel him back to the lower weightclass ...we'll Pacquiao basically went over these three guys unscathed and even went on to sing in a concert after the Cotto fight, who does that?

Yeah, Pacquaio would probably lose to Armstrong and Duran on paper, but who knows? I don't think both Armstrong and Duran has been in there with a fighter with Pacquiao's, speed, power and uncanny style. I think these fights would be toss-ups.

i love pac. i honestly don't think he can beat duran. i mean it's possible but doubtful.

duran was one tough sob and talented as well.

armstrong is an all time great fighter but i can see manny beating him.
