Margarito obviously. Baldomir went on to do absolutely nothing and at least Margarito has beaten Cotto and Clottey. Baldo won against Clottey because of luck.

Margarito, but it's always nice adding a lineal crown to your resume.

I agree. I wish I could edit the poll a little. At that point in time not knowing what would become of Marg and Baldo, did Floyd make the right decision?

True especially 30 or 40 years from now when people won't have a clue who Margo and Baldo were... at least you can say Well this Baldomir guy was the lineal champ.... Idk. Maybe not...

No question, would have been Marg, regardless whether or not he would cheat if they ever had met up in a match back in the day. It all comes down to popularity and demand of the fight IMO.

I know people don't like to give Baldomir any credit but he was unbeaten for almost 9 years when he fought Floyd. He won the lineal crown from Judah who was the undisputed champion. He then defended it by knocking out Gatti. He's also got one of the best chins were recently seen in boxing. His skills were limited, but he did accomplish a thing or two.

Only great fighters help your legacy and Margarito is not a great fighter

                And who has Margarito beat?

Baldomir put mayweathers name in the history of the lineage of the WW title.

Im alone on this, but i voted baldomir because of it.
