See you guys keep hoping and praying this won't happen. Boxing fans should be more than happy this fight is being made, it's really odd people putting some sort of emotional female grudge against someone they don't know when if this fight is made everyone should be amped.

I would give Pac full credit if he and his team had accepted to fought Mosley, What excuses would i'd even came up with? Mosley is still on top 5 P4P list, no need to make any excuses. Floyd should get full credit as well, but it's Floyd A.K.A the boring boxer, he doesn't deserve jack ****.
lol a bad actor if you look through my post history you would see that i have defended mayweather before just because i dont hang off floyds nuts like you doesnt make me a hater or biased i just call it like i see it. my post was directed at those who called mosley old and washed up when cotto fought him and now act like shane is this unbeatable monster 2 years after cotto already beat him and to those floyd fans who if pac would have accepted this fight would have called mosley old and washed up if your not in that group why respond? stop being so sensitive when your man crush is mentioned

          • Glad to hear it, this is a fight fans have been calling for for a very long time.
That said, Mayweather is going to absolutely dominate this fight. When its all said and done there will still be a long line of haters refusing to give him any credit.

Lol. Funny. Actually, you are wrong. They will now start talking about how old Mosley is -- anything to avoid giving Mayweather credit for taking the fight and winning.

And, for the record I have never ever implied that Floyd is a *****... No man who gets in the ring, no matter who you are is a *****... So don't assume ****... If that is the way you take it cuz I question his decisions so be it... but, that is not what I have ever implied at all...
Floyd has only fought once in over 20 months JR.....

I like Floyd Mayweather in this fight... I don't think is going to be an easy win from Floyd by any means... I read people thinking Floyd can stop him or win an easy decision but I don't see it... I think Floyd can get shook early on by the strength of Shane... Is been like 3yrs or even longer that Floyd would be fighting somebody who is a just as strong or even stronger than him... So is going to be interesting how he handles that... And, I do wonder if Floyd lost a step... I am not a 100% sure about his reflexes... he got hit by some right hands from JMM that he normally does not get hit with... I don't know if he couldn't get out of the way from JMM right hands due to being rusty or due to his reflexes not being what it used to be... I think Shane will answer those questions...
Now it has been a while since Shane fought somebody that is as quick as Floyd, and Shane has had trouble with fighters who have a great jab. And, Floyd was a great jab one of the best in the sport... And, I am not sure how this long layoff will effect Shane. He will be off for 16 months, the longest of his career. I don't know if he will have some rust... I mean you go in there with a great sharp fighter like Floyd rusty. Then that is a recipe for disaster...

This is the best fighter Floyd has fought since Castillo, maybe ever... I could see Shane with his strength and over hand right giving Floyd problems early in the fight... but, I think Floyd at the end of the day is quicker at pulling the trigger and will be the sharper of the two. And, he will pull it away late in the fight with his speed, jab, and defense... I got Floyd winning a close decision...

But, the X-factor will be ****m Richardson... One of the greatest mind in boxing. He is a chess player, can he do the unthinkable and come up with the perfect gameplan to beat Floyd? That to me will be interesting... Will Shane fight ala Hopkins and turned this into an ugly one punch and grab, clinch, dirty type of fight... Will he use a lot of clinching to interrupt Floyd rhythm? Only time will tell...
But, I am excited about this fight... I think it will be a close... credit to Floyd for taking it... And, I think Floyd will win a close decision...

                  How do you see it?

Mmmm..... you saw that too. Most people think floyd looked great against JMM. I for one though he looked slower than usual and actually beat JMM with his C level game. He should have been able to KO JMM by the 9th round!!

If floyd brings what he did against JMM to a fight with Shane i think he will lose.

As for Shane fighting Hopkins style and trying to spoil floyd.....that i cannot see happening. Floyd is too fast for Shane to punch and then hold him IMO.....Floyd won't allow that to happen, and i can't see shane executing that if Floyd is throwing one-punch pot-shots.

I think the key for Floyd is to keep pumping the jab and mix in str8 rights when he sees Shane off balance.....because lets face it Shane's footwork is good until he starts throwing punches, then sometimees he finds himself off balance.

Richardson is also a very good trainer. Very realistic and he won't be telling Shane he is stronger than floyd or faster, or this or that....even though he may be....he never makes an assumption....he just looks at the oppostion and devises what he thinks is the best game plan to win.

As for my prediction: - Mayweather in a close decision. Whenever Floyd fights true A level fighters or top class opposition i think it brings out the best in him.

Same here, its better not to expect something and get disappointed later on. Hopefully, the fight should happen but I learn my lesson from expecting too much from Floydie.
                      Gracias
