mayweather has never been in a war. thats not me trying to put down mayweather, i just had to comment , cause the whole war thing only works for fighters that actually go to war in the ring. he doesn't like getting hit, he says it himself. going to war is taking punches and dishing them out.
Is Floyd fighting Shane before a Pac fight a "risk"??

Yes, fighting Mosley is WAY more of a risk than fighting Pacquiao.
Why? Because when it's all said and done, Pacquiao's skill level is that of an amatuer. He does absolutely everything wrong, I'm surprised he doesn't circle to the left against an orthodox boxer. He gets away with it though because he is incredibly fast and powerful.
Mosley on the other hand is one of the most technical guys ever, has speed, power, AND a granite chin. Not to mention the most important move in boxing: A strong jab.
Mosley is a bigger risk, enough said. And if this fight is accepted on both sides, Floyd finally removes the title of a person who doesn't fight real WWs.Comment

The same Mosley that was beaten by Cotto 2 1/2 years prior?
The same Mosley that barely sc****d by a shot Mayorga?
The same Mosley that won't have stepped in the ring in 16 months?
The same Mosley that turns 39 this year?
Sure he's a risk, just not as big as you'd like to think.
Here we go again with the typical excuses.Comment
