    pre fight..yes

    post fight..no

    that is boxingscene for you.

But the reality of the matter is that Shane IS past his prime, HOWEVER, this is the guy that alot of people said that Floyd was scared of and would NEVER fight (i'm a fan of both these guys and it just didn't work out earlier). Also, we must understand that Shane IS the MAN at 147. So regardless of how old he is, he is the champ and you can NOT knock Floyd for fighting for the 147 title, YET again.

Did Mayweather use the weight to win? No, he totally outclassed Marquez, the same Marquez who gave hell to Pacquiao and lets not forget Pacquiao won that on a single point!!

Youre a fool if you think Marquez wasnt effected by weight. Just watch his next fight with Khan.. Khan will KO JMM ..

And IF Floyd beat Mosley... i will give Floyd props..

There's also the risk of Mayweather-Pacquiao never happening and not fighting Shane would have meant losing yet another big payday but to answer your question, yes. It's a risky fight if he does indeed intend to fight Pacquiao (which I think he does).

Yes, it is a risk, but Mayweather should win comfortably anyways. I think a lot of people who imagine their styles collide feel this way too.

I'd say Hatton at the time was thought to be a decent risk also people seem to forget how much hype Undefeated Hatton was getting..

Is it really his fault that he is so good the 2 champs (at the time) in Judah and Baldo were not risks also?
            What this guy said.

Sure you will. For about 10 minutes. The next day you'll say "I just watched the fight again...." just like the other haters on NBS.

Of course it's a risk that he needs to take.

                  1. Mosley is taken random blood tests
                  2. Beating the best welterweight
                  3. Finally beating a big name that every1 respects
