That is good enough for me though and will satisfy me that he is the best of his generation if he pulls it off. Marciano was the same way... Rocky was legitimately knocked down by Joe Walcott and severely beaten another time but he kept on fighting and got the W.
Joe Calzaghe was knocked down by the best Middleweight in the world in the 1st round! Most mortals wouldve simply given up at that point, but Joe came back and dominated BHOP for the rest of the fight. That is true Greatness.

I favor Floyd fairly heavily against Shane due to Shanes old legs and slightly against Manny. There are so many intangibles. All three of them have the potential of showing up old in their next fight, including Floyd. I will not rate any of them top 10 ATG's until well after their careers are over and all the dust has settled. Then you can sit back and reflect, see how they as well as their opponents rebounded from a loss and then see where they stand.Originally posted by COACH-WEBB View Post
