Undefeated Records is a mirage. Undefeated records is the hot chick with a missing toe or has a 500mg prescription of valacyclovir.

The greatness of fighters who retire undefeated or currently active can be misleading & should be taken with a grain of salt.

From Rocky Marciano, Ricardo Lopez, to Joe Calzaghe, & to now Fraudulent Mayweather jr., undefeated fighters are su****ious.

Marciano- almost of all of his notable wins were past their prime. I read somewhere his average age of opponents were close to mid 30s. Marciano's record should have a loss, i think in his fight with ezzard charles his nose was grotesquely cut, any other fighter they would have stopped the fight. But since he was going for the undefeated record they let him fight on. Marciano is a great fighter but you wont find any historians saying he's the greatest heavyweight let alone of all time because of his undefeated record.

Ricardo Lopez - 51-0. the great minimum weight boxer trained by nacho beristain is one of the best fighters to come out of mexico but he was a underrated star in his prime. He falls behind julio cesar chavez & my favorite fighter of all time salvador sanchez, as mexico's greatest, most revered fighters. I feel as though he should have went up in weight & challenged himself.

    Joe Calzaghe - enough said.

Fraudulent Mayweather - ditto. this fraud has the nerve to say he's the G.O.A.T because he never lost. Whats worse is, some people actually believe it & treat him as such. The reason why i hate this fraud is he disrespects other fighters & had the audacity to say he's better than sugar ray robinson, leonard, & ali because they lost. How can you even claim that when the best fighters on your resume is Diego Corrales, Jose Luis Castillo, ricky hatton, & oscar de la hoya?

Zsolt Erdai is undefeated. So is Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Joe Calzaghe has more wins than Fraudulent jr., does that mean Calzaghe is better? Hell, joe has two legitimate bonafide greats on his resume, unlike fraudulent jr. who has borderline greats but they get passed off as some full fledged hall of fame locks for the purpose of propping up mayweather.

TRUE GREATNESS NEEDS VERIFICATION. IT NEEDS VERIFICATION IN THE FORM OF GETTING IN THE RING WITH OTHER TRUE GREAT FIGHTERS.

ATG needs verification again, again, & again.

    Ray Leonard has lost.
    Ray Robinson has lost.
    Muhammad Ali has lost.
    Michael Jordan has lost.
    Roger Federer has lost.
    Usain Bolt has lost.
    Tom Brady has lost.
    Payton Manning has lost.
    Tiger Woods has lost.

Every true great legendary fighter has lost. Every true great legendary team or individual sportman has lost.

True greatness means how you respond to a loss. How you challenged yourself. How do you know what you are made of if you have never been put in a dire challenging situation?

LOSSES & DRAWS = a mark of a warrior. they are battle scars. It signifies that you have been challenged by other greats.

    NOBODY IS UNBEATABLE. NOBODY.

    As for the dbag who reported me & got me tased for a harmless "mayweather mafia is in a precarious situation" thread i made;

Im sorry you feel that way......

    LMAO@ this thread

like i said before, it depends on who you beat & when you beat them, who you lost to & when you lost to.

I might be underestimating being undefeated, but you are overestimating being undefeated.

chavez jr. is 41-0. His dad was went 45-0 going up against weak opposition.
      zsolt erdai is is 31-0.

Fighting great opposition & participating in great fights that captivate the audience whether you win, lose, or draw is not promoting mediocrity & imperfection.......

Its striving for true legendary greatness & proper boxing immortality not infamy.
Man you have knowledge of the sport but you are a ****** poster at times

instead of knocking Floyds skills why not give him props?

i have never ever knocked his skills. never. Go check my post history. You will never find it because i never knocked his skills & technique.

What i always knock is his level of greatness he & his delusional fanbase claim they deserve & his contradictions & unwillingness to fight threatening opposition.

I never knocked his skills. Never.

          • i'll be honest i'm a floyd fan but i agree with this thread. if you are undefeated then all it means is you haven't fought the best period.

Let's be real floyd has looked unstoppable many times, but he has also won SD's and arguably lost (castillo I) according to some people (i personally believe he won that fight for the record). but point is he's only human, people need to stop falling for the hype of that undefeated mystique. it don't mean ****. if floyd fought margarito, cotto, paul williams, etc, etc i guarantee there's a strong chance he would have lost at least once even if for the fact that if he fought let's say margarito/williams back to back perhaps he would have won but taken too much damage in the process and his next fight he'd lose due to being worn out etc...that's what it's all about. Though I don't think Cotto would have ever beat Floyd even a old ass raggedy Floyd easily dominates and Knocks out Cotto. But Williams defiitely stands a chance and margarito stood one to a lesser extent (though I'd still favor floyd over both of them)
