An olympic style testing could kill prof. boxing? A promoter has to spend $10 to 20 millions in promotions, and it's usually done 2 to 3 months before the fight. If you were the promoter, would you spend that kind of money knowing that the fight MAY NOT TAKE PLACE IF SOMEONE TURNS UP POSITIVE??? The random blood testing will bring uncertainty to the fight. A promoter must have an assurance a fight will take place. Otherwise there is no promoting, thus, no fight. NADA!:

I'm not saying that being on the "juice" is ok but there is a difference here. What Margacheato did can basically be described as assault with a deadly weapon. I am surprised that he didn't do any jail time like that guy Resto did back in the days. I find it hard to believe that anyone would think that the Mosely fight was the first time he "tried" to use the plaster. This guy totally ruined Cotto's career by beating him down for 11 rounds with cement hands. Cotto hasn't been the same since. Margacheato should never be allowed to fight again!

there is no proof margarito had loaded gloves on his previous fights how you know did you wrap his hands ? i dont think so speak only facts not fantasy he ko your idol get over it ..at least margo does not duck fighters he takes on all comers and is not looking for escuses not to figth someone

Margarito doesn't duck anybody? Funny he always wanted to fight rematches with guys he already beat and he was forced to take the Mosley fight and he was scared to death to fight Paul Williams again. Williams on the other hand is offering a guy who nearly beat him his biggest payday to date. You tell me who fights for the fans and who fights for himself.

I'm not all pro-Margarito and ****t but from what I recall Margarito wanted a rematch with Williams but Willliams chose not to and go for Quintana and got schooled. I will say this Margarito needs to fight Mosley and KO him to atleast get minimal respect ...

Margarito´s comreback is good for the sport. First of all; Mosley hugged for half the fight he should have had points deducted. Second of all; Margarito had a plaster-like substance, nobody knows for sure what it was. Third; Who checked Mosley´s gloves? He used illegal substances against Oscar, that fight should have been a no contest. And was he suspended???? I believe is racism; the one that makes everybody have that " guilt" with blacks. Judges, referees, the media. Let´s face it, Margarito attracts more creowds then Mosley. Hey, he has been laying on his black ass for a year!!!!!!
