I think the rationale for accepting Margarito is that he gives you the chance to hit him.

Foreman is the same size and has no power but he is not afraid to use his legs all night and stink it out.

Manny doesn't need that. He needs a guy who will fight with him. In this regard, Margarito fits the bill.

You're right about Margarito's power though. People tend to underrate it. He has extremely heavy hands. If Pac decides to fight with him, which I think he will, Tony can stop him late.

I don't think he ever had one punch KO power really. Usually he wears his opponents down. If he was cheating for many fights than that makes it even worse for the people he was hitting in the head over and over. I don't think Margarito deserves a Manny fight at this time. They should make him fight a few good fights and earn it. If he doesnt do well in those fights and looks weak then it would be hard not to say he probably cheated during most of his previous fights where he showed devastating punches throughout those fights.

Hey Margarito was a warrior , still is , and I always liked his style and respected him , its just that after what he did , he lost all credibility , he needs to gain it again , and make ppl forget about the incident , but with or without plaster he was still a beast , and people seem to forget that.
