In other words, "I want to make some money out of Khan before I put him in the ring with a real contender."

Just when I was starting to respect Khan for wanting the Maidana fight, they go and pull him out of it.

I think these 2 fighters are almost if not in equal footing in the ring! This is one of the fights that needs to happens the soonest, however, if they want more money to face other guys before clashing each other to make fans more salivating, and as consolitions for one to go after colliding each other, then it will be alright! More or less though, I will be rooting for Khan!

Khan is a formidable force in the making if his career taken care well. Though he have that suspect chin, his styles is like a mixture of Floyd and Pac! Aside from being fearless and fast, he could retract from battle and keep at bay to figure out his next best move if proves him ineffectual, and pound his opponent if an oppotune time comes! Maidana is a strong contender for Khan and have tools to beat Khan, but I think Khan have more than to proves than Maidana, it's just that too early for them both to clash each other to make one famous and the other one on the decline after clashing each other.

Politics is fuxcking boxing up. Promoters stand in the way of fights because they're looking at it as "risking money". And the fighters are risking their life. Why build up a fight that isn't worth it? Just make Maidana/Khan happen now.

How are you going to build this fight up without Khan fighting somebody just as hard, or harder than Maidana. If Khan beats hand picked fighter before this fight with Maidana, it will still be the same fight after. What build up are you talking about?
