Can we stop comparing Gamboa to Lopez. Its direspectful to Gamboa.

Pac fights NOTHING like Gamboa. In no way shape form or fashion. Gamboa has reflexes out of this world.

Gamboa darts in and out, bakc and forth like Roy Jones throwing quick combos then slipping whatever you throw. Like Jones did.

Listen Juanma is a great talent but to judge and compare his performance against Mtagwa and Gambo's is not very intelligent. Mtagwa was tailor made for Gamboa and had nothing for him Saturday. That being said Gamboa looked very good against him and took him out quickly. Mtagwa against Juanma at 122lbs was a difficult fight because Juanma ran out of gas in about the 6th round and by the 9th was really taking a beating. To judge Lopez off that fight and not look at what he did to Luevano is also not very intelligent. To say that Gamboa is > than Pacquiao at anything after watching him against Mtagwa is just plain ignorant IMO. Gamboa is still not tested to the point where we can say he will be great. As of right now he is very good and has some really awesome gifts. Lopez is very good as well more technical than Gamboa and has a great jab and left hook. He and Gamboa will be a very good test for one another but I would not try to predict the outcome of that fight. He reminds me of Juan Guzman at the lower weight classes when they called him "Little Tyson" his combined power and speed make for an awesome blend. The fact he fights more like Tyson then Roy Jones is evident in his style he showed us Saturday. he was straight pressure and his head movement was awesome. He looked more contained and polished then I have seen from him. I see both comparisions Roy Jones and Tyson.....Lefty

He is more aggressive than Roy Jones so i understand the Tyson comparison in that respect. In terms of athletic qualities he's much more Roy than Mike tho.

Gamboa is an amazing talent, reflexes, speed, power in both hands, amazing footwork and skills for days. A once in a generation type of fighter.

JuanMa is a good fighter, but hes nothing special. He hits hard and has a good jab and left hook. He will beat up alot people in his day but lets stop comparing them. Gamboa's skill and talent is on a whole different level.

I agree, gamboa is a freak of nature but JuanMa is not in his class and im a huge fan of Juanma... Gamboa is going to be huge!!!!!

I agree with the TS starter about Gamboa's skills being better than Juanma's. That cat is a beast. But wait until you see 2008 US Olympian Mr Gary Russell. I'm not saying he will be better than Gamboa. But he will be a great fighter to.

He wasnt tailor made. Most of boxingscene said this was a dangerous fight for Gamboa.

That being said Gamboa looked very good against him and took him out quickly. Mtagwa was beating Lopez's ass. Juanma looked terrible. He beat Luevano by KO like I said he would. It was a good win.

He hasnt accomplished more. But as far as skills. Gamboa is more skilled and talented then Pac.
