El Jesus basically just admitted what everybody else tends to say: Lopez is a one-shot kind of fighter, in a lot of ways. If Gamboa can steer clear of his right hook, it's an easy night.

He throws combinations when nessecary but hes not reckless. Id much rather Lopez be a "one shot" kind of fighter than to throw constant combination leaving himself every oppurtunity to get dropped. Lopez best punch is the hooks, but in a phonebooth hes excellent and knows how to reset his defense. Can you say the same about Gamboa?

Gamboa never fights inside for too long. He is insanely quick on his feet and one of the best in-and-out fighters around. I just think that Lopez is in over his head with Gamboa. Especially now that he's gained so much more patience. I saw a different fight tonight and in the last few fights. The old Gamboa would have lost it when he got Mtagwa hurt. But even in the end, he was picking his shots well.

          His defense has improved too.

Lopez has a great right hand. He jabs, hooks, uppers and everything off it.

I'd lean for Lopez, Gamboa is suspect to me.

Gamboa is 10x faster than Juanma and I think that will be the difference. He seems to have more power as well.

Exactly, Gamboa will toy with Jaunma for a couple rounds and TKO/KO him in round 3-4.
